I lived around the DC region for 3.5 years (starting in Jan 2010). You can go down the DC murder data files (minimum of 100 per year in the District). In about 99-percent of the cases, between midnight and 4 AM....if you got killed, you were in a failed drug deal, or with a competing drug gang, or you were getting aggressive to fight off a robbery. It’s possible that he was meeting his dealer and things went wrong.

But virtually everyone says he wasn’t doing drugs. He just doesn’t fit the normal profile for a DC murder.

Recent tragedy history is full of people behaving oddly. I think it is a symptom of society breakdown. People are so out of touch or over medicated that they just don't know how to act when faced with tragedy. I remember several at the Sandy hook shooting that were just plain weird with their responses. Or it could be the brother got a visit.

Look, you’re not just dealing with an overbearing and powerful political machine. Try to think of what these people were up against. If you have to consider the possiblity that Seth was taken down intentionally, then it’s not just the DNC that you’re up against. You’re not just dealing with slick talking goons in suits inside your house and inside all of your business speaking as if everything they do is meant to help but thinly veiling how bad things will get for you if you don’t cooperate. You’re dealing with the prospect that the full power of the deep state that was just (allegedly) executed a hit on your family member is now standing in your living room with proxies promising you legal and PR protection. Who could you even run to besides the nearest camera, and how would you get to them if you wanted to?

But DC is not a state, it is federal property and any crime that takes place in DC is a federal offense. However, DC police usually investigate high profile crimes in DC. But why would the power in DC bring in the FBI? After all, DC police are the most corrupt and incompetent fools so a cover-up is not necessary because they would botch any investigation from the git-go, without even trying.

Can you imagine something like that happening when you go to work that day? Massive confusion, but I have to hand it to the Leos, they made progress. It was a horrible night, not knowing where friends were, not knowing if they were victims. Some had tickets to the venue. The Lord is good. Friends had to make an emergency trip to LA and they were delayed by an accident on the highway.

Use your noggin. One murder is obviously easy to cover up. But the slaughter of an entire family? The family that sticks together is a family that shall not be effed with. I’m betting that, like the Kopechnes, they didn’t even try. And if money has changed hands...I feel even sorrier for Seth Rich. He deserved better.

I agree. On paper, it sounds very re-assuring.
I’m sure you’d be plenty bold enough to walk right out and hold a press conference and declare all of your un-provable suspicions about Seth’s death to the press without any fear of consequence. Afterall, your whole family would be ‘slaughtered’ and that would never happen. You wouldn’t be afraid of random accidents, individual suicides, episodes of unpredictable heart failure, or any other mishap from cropping up. You got this.
