Musician Jennifer Lopez spoke out about the kids in cages part of her Super Bowl LIV halftime show.
“Other people can try to build walls, keep us out or put us in cages. We are proud to recognize that all of us together are what makes this beautiful country truly great.”
Lopez referred to the moment her 11-year-old daughter Emme performed “Let’s Get Loud” while sitting in a cage. Emme was surrounded by other young dancers enclosed in cages.

Wow, much as I didn’t like the Puerto Rico flag being put up, it never occurred to me the imagery was about those poor illegal kids in kennels.

Gee JLo I dont remember you being outraged when Obama put “Kids in cages” and by the way NO kid has ever been in a cage..they are put in a facility, and honestly in my opinion, the second they cross the border you turn them around and send them back period

I didn’t watch but someone who did felt the highly suggestive dancing and kids in cages was promoting pedophilia.
That was my first thought. Then I realized that she was wearing the flag of Puerto Rico, so I was trying to figure out why we're putting Puerto Rican kids in cages. I'm confused.

Last weekend I watched the Movie biopic on Charlie Chaplin (Robert Downey starred as Chaplin). It’s supposedly based on Chaplin’s biography and the movie was very candid about the low moral character of the then denizens of Tinsel Town. The sex, including underage (Something Chaplin was supposedly known for!), the casting couch (both sexes!), booze & drugs and this was pre-WWI! Again why is anyone surprised? Actors/cateresses/entertainers have always shown to be of very low moral repute. Lower in social standing then thieves & pickpockets and that’s probably been the case since Aeschylus! There never was a golden age when they were all shiny & nice.
