Joe Rogan No, Anti-Semites Yes

Last week, we witnessed the latest episode of “Woke-scolds Attack” as Bernie Sanders committed the unimaginable crime of sharing a mild endorsement from comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan. Speaking with New York Times staff editor Bari Weiss, Joe Rogan stated that he was likely to vote for Bernie Sanders in the California Democratic Primary. Given that the Joe Rogan Experience is downloaded by hundreds of millions of listeners a month, it would be mind-bogglingly foolish for Bernie Sanders’ campaign not to try and take political advantage.

Setting aside the arguably flawed logic in Joe Rogan’s argument - consistency of ideology is hardly an important variable if the ideology in question is demonstrably immoral - as a phenomenally famous podcast host, with an audience which spans the political spectrum, such an endorsement would be a feather in the cap of the Sanders campaign. However, in the eyes of the increasingly-radical woke Left, Joe Rogan is nothing more than an “incredibly influential bigot,” and falls into the faceless basket of deplorable homophobes, racists, and transphobes the radical Left openly despise.

Rather ironically, because of the Left’s overused “guilt by association” arguments which are often promulgated by Sanders himself, the Senator from Vermont is being forced to lie in the bed of relentless intersectionality that he and many of his supporters have made. Even more absurdly, the farcical “slippery slope” argument permits people to compare Joe Rogan to Richard Spencer or David Duke...despite the fact that Joe Rogan is vocally Left-wing on many issues.

However, we must acknowledge and address the deeper issue of the radical Left’s inconsistent and politically-convenient outrage wielded to take down their enemies, while they continue to allow demonstrable bigots to thrive in their midst.

It’s patently absurd to argue that Joe Rogan is some sort of hateful bigot solely because his opinions on certain topics are unacceptable in the eyes of the woke Left. However, let us assume (for the sake of argument) that Bernie Sanders was indeed wrong to share an endorsement from someone accused of such bigotry. With this in mind, surely this would mean that others with a demonstrated history of bigotry would also be banished from Bernie’s ranks?

Enter Linda Sarsour, who works as a campaign surrogate for Bernie Sanders, who has an illustrious career of anti-Semitism which includes the support of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, suggestions of “a conflict of interest between feminism and Zionism,” references to the age-old trope of Jewish dual-loyalty, and claims that Israel is “built on the idea that Jews are supreme to everyone else.” Interestingly, for Linda Sarsour, the woke-scolds’ silence is deafening.

What about another vocal anti-Semite Ilhan Omar, who endorsed Bernie Sanders in October of 2019? She has also accused American Jews of possessing dual loyalty, stated that Israel had “hypnotized the world” to hide their “evil doings,” and claimed that support for Israel is “all about the Benjamins,” all while shilling for the deeply anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Again, silence.

The free pass given to politically-advantageous bigots such as Linda Sarsour and Ilhan Omar prove that the outrage triggered by Joe Rogan’s endorsement is utterly disingenuous. The brutal fact is that the radical Left don’t care about hate or bigotry. They only care about using accusations of hate or bigotry against their political enemies. They are nothing more than cowardly bullies who use the threat of deplatforming to force people to either openly mimic their views or cower in silence.

Yet again, combating anti-Semitism doesn’t play a part in the radical Left’s faux-crusade against bigotry. I wonder why?

I would now argue that Joe Rogan is a hateful bigot, because Joe Rogan said he would vote for a Communist hate monger.

So I can only assume that Joe is the same.

Let the record show that not all podcasters are liberal. I record the “History of Southeast Asia Podcast,” and promote it on another FR thread.

A rational economics must be based on a rational politics, and a rational politics must be based on a rational morality, in order to make it possible for individuals to live a life proper to a rational being. Irrationality leads to destruction in the long run. Burny sanders and his commie morality/politics/economics is incompatible with rationality.

"Yet again, combating anti-Semitism doesn’t play a part in the radical Left’s faux-crusade against bigotry."

Democrats, including the targets of anti-Semitism, have never had a problem with a little bit of Jew bashing if it shepherds more useful idiots who vote democrat to the polls.

Jews and White Christians are dangerous to the leftist movement towards communism. The left depends on ignorance to spread its grasp for power over others. Young skulls full of mush are increasingly drawn to the idealistic utopian society where everything is supposedly free and equal. Without intervention in education there will eventually be a communist in the White House.

I know about Joe’s proclivities. I like the dude, and I listen to him fairly often.

However, I don’t see how anyone can vote for a literal Communist hate monger without also being the same.

I can only assume that Joe wants gulags. Why else would anyone vote for this man?

Because he doesn’t believe that. I think you know that.
I think Joe is wrong, but not evil.

I have listened to many Joe Rogan podcast’s and have to admit that I am a fan. Joe Rogan does a far better job of interviewing many different kinds of people from many walks of life in a fair and interesting manner than any in the main stream media. in his interviews Joe has actual conversations with his guests and he’s open to exploring ideas he’s not familiar with or even approves of.

That being said, there are many discordant ideas and philosophies espoused by Joe. I think that Joe Rogan suffers from a cognitive dissonance where he quite can’t give up the religion of his upbringing which is leftism. I expect him to be redpilled within the next 2 to 3 years at most because he has been drifting away from leftism for sometime now.

He needs to be careful then.

If he’s not a Communist hatemonger, but he’s willing to vote for a Communist hate monger, then I can only conclude that he is totally ignorant of who he intends to vote for, and that makes him a danger to me.

I don’t want to live in a Communist country full of gulags elected to power by morons who didn’t know any better.

I really don’t.

Oh yeah, I am a fan of Joe to, and he is certainly a little bit crazy in not a bad way.

However, even if I was sitting right across from him, knowing how he could beat my ass anytime he wants, I would tell him exactly what I’ve said here in the exact same way.

Bernie is a very scary guy.

Probably the first endorsement Sander got that might actually help him.

Joe lost me when he made this big appopleptic show on America’s guilt in Operation Paper Clip, never mentioning that the Soviets pardoned all of the worst of SS war criminals after they switched to communism and worked with Stalin to repress Russians even.

He is a selective outrage, hence he is possessed by an entity feeding on certain proclivities.

The dude is a hack barbarian, ie. no real passion, just history and a tool to an end and his own glorification , so obvious he was a sellout to me.
