On the frequent Catholic radio ETWN network ads for the show Called to Communion with Dr.David Anders the first example they use is a woman calling in and asking "why can't women be priests?". The show is aimed at non-Catholics (like me).
I can't remember the reason but it had to do with an unbroken line from the past which had male priests only.
Their reverence for Mary includes praying to her to pray for them but not worshipping her, if I'm right on that.
That national TV and radio network was founded by the energetic, funny and charismatic Mother Angelica (of Blessed Memory) who organized the whole thing in Alabama. I have heard a number of her recorded sessions with callers.
Several of their regular shows have women such as Teresa Tomeo who is hard hitting against abortion apologists.
Please note: Many others here are far more knowledegable than I, a non-Catholic.
“Asset managers such as BlackRock ...”
Now, where in the world have I heard of a black rock before ?
