If there was ever an upside to blustery cold weather, killing bugs would be #1 on my list and I hope it works there for y’all!
Glad you didn’t have any trees down. They make such a mess! I hope there aren’t any iffy ones near the new house. That would just suck bigtime!

Killing off bugs is about the ONLY upside I can think of to cold weather. LOL
There aren’t any trees close enough to this house to hit it if they should fall. But there are a lot of old, large trees around the farm that would be a pain to clean up. We’ve had enough of that “fun” for a while.
I went out to dump the rain gauge a little while ago and the wind’s picked up again, though nothing like last night. The temp is dropping quickly now. It’s past time we had some winter so I won’t complain.
Much. :-)

Did you make it to the lake with Gizmo yesterday? From what I s aw on weather maps, it looked like it was mighty cold for an outing.

Glad all the trees are well away from your home. It would be a shame to have it damaged after just spending all that time getting over there.
I guess I’d better go. You know what tomorrow is...and I haven’t gotten good sleep the last few nights. See ya tomorrow? Stay warm!

It’s nice not having to worry about a tree crashing through the roof. I still can’t believe how lucky we’ve been in the past with tornados hitting close and knocking trees down.
It’s also nice not having trees block the view through the windows of storms when it’s raining too much to stand outside. LOL
I hope you’re able to sleep better tonight. Don’t need to nod off in church.

It was cold but it also was nice and sunny out there. We spent much of the day on the rocks on the beach. Gizmo seems to do a much better job navigating the rocks than I can.
I have to make him hold so that I can take a picture of him and then put my iPhone back in the pocket. He seems so eager to run off and explore the lake and the scenery.
We had a great time though. We will be back out there later today.

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you have better weather today.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
You boys have a fun day in the tall grass, on the beach, or wherever you get to go.

It sounds like y’all had a good time out there.
Of course he can navigate the rocks better .... he has four feet to work with to your two. LOL
I hope it’s another nice day so you two can go on another romp and not freeze.

Tractor Plow? You got a Tractor Plow?
I have to make a decision between a broom or a shovel. HaHa Ha.
No worries...it was pretty light. Out I go! :-)

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS AND OUR BELOVED NATION!
Amazing Grace (Click)
By John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine.
When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun.

"I VOW TO THEE, my country, all earthly things above, Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love; The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test, That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best; The love that never falters, the love that pays the price, The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.
And there's another country, I've heard of long ago, Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know; We may not count her armies, we may not see her King; Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering; And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase, And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace."
