I was thinking the same thing, if impeachment goes on the record permanently, and lasts forever, acquittal of impeachment charges also goes on the record permanently, and lasts forever.
Better to be impeached than to go through life botoxed, drunk and stupid.
What will last forever, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA, is the clearly unfair and partisan attempt by the Democrats to undo an election. Making up clearly one-sided rules, refusal to give the accused an opportunity to defend himself, the refusal to allow a day for the defense to present its case, and the shallow, unjustified articles of impeachment, are an embarrassment to our country in the world theater.
It is as though all of you wet your pants in public, and do not care. I, personally, would be quite embarrassed. The whole world can all see the wet clothing.

The Democrats have cheapened impeachment. Now if the opposing party controls the House the President should be impeached. Make if commonplace and not a big thing. Another way to challenge elections.
You impeached him and he is still the President. He is going to trial at the Senate and when it is over, he will still be President. Later this year we will have an election and after it is over , he will still be President. For 4 more years Nancy!

I don’t see why the President can’t challenge the impeachment in court. There are no crimes, Democrats have made it clear it’s a political move. How can it stand?
because the court has no role in this process. The venue for him to raise those issues is the senate trial
