Leader McCarthy's resolution does the following:
1) condemns Iran for killing over 1,000 Iranian citizens who were protesting their government,
2) condemns the Government of Iran for shooting down Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752,
3) condemns the Government of Iran for repeatedly lying to its people and to the world about its responsibility for the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752,
4) calls on the Government of Iran to refrain from the use of violence, and protect the rights of freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
My guess is the Dems are holding out for #5 be added which would condemn Iran for attacking the US Embassy in Iraq and killing an American.

LOL, I agree but do you think for one minute that the Republicans would use it? Hell no! They are afraid it would make them mad at them.
I watched a parade of democrats whine one after the other about how important it was to move quickly on the impeachment then have Pelosi sit on it for weeks.
They could easily have used that in their talking points but never saw one of them mention it.
