President Trump plans to divert $7.2 billion from the Pentagon to go toward border wall construction this year, an amount five times greater than what Congress authorized in the budget, the Washington Post reported.
This would be the second year in a row that money is redirected to the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border from military construction projects and counternarcotics funding.
The administration will take $3.5 billion from counter-drug programs and $3.7 billion from military construction funding, according to internal planning figures obtained by The Post, compared to $2.5 billion and $3.6 billion, respectively, last year...
A total of $18.4 billion in federal funds has (will have) gone to the border wall during Trump’s presidency. The plans indicate that this new boost of funding would allow the administration to build about 885 miles of new fencing by spring of 2022, more than the 509 miles planned for the border, according to the Post.

You are willing to do that to someone who believes so sincerely that The Wall must be built, and quickly, that she is willing to sacrifice her political life to do everything she can possibly do to make sure it gets built?

I am looking at getting the money, and putting it on contract - the Government’s job.
The contractor’s work completing construction on all of that, is likely going to extend beyond 2021.
It is legally difficult, and would be politically difficult to stop those projects from completing, especially without forfeiting most of the money. In the past, such work has been considered untouchable. Bush era border wall contracts were allowed to run till completion under Obama, but money not yet on contract was re-purposed.

A US Appeals Court already OK’ed the money transfer. Democrats are livid because he fulfills another campaign promise.
I never doubted for a minute that Trump intended to keep his word on the wall and immigration.
It’s hard to understand what Ann Coulter has accomplished with her anti-Trump tirades, other than alienating many of her readers.
And I don’t think she’s “held Trump’s feet to the fire” mainly because Trump never needed such treatment. Trump has a superb sense of timing, and won’t be goaded into acting before he’s ready.

I disagree. Trump was dragging his feet on the wall. He did not fight for wall funding in the first couple of budgets. He listen to Paul Ryan. And Coulter has held his feet to the fire. There is no doubt in my mind That Ann is a major reason why Trump has been extra aggressive the last year on the all funding .

The Trumps are not politicians and are not part of the political elite IMO.I would trust TRUMP JR a hell of alot more than any politician and to carry on what his father is currently doing.Can you say that about anybody else? I cant think of any.
