Frankly, Germany does not need Iran’s oil what with the resurgence of the USA as an oil producer. The only reason Germany would want to keep dealing with Iran in this respect would be demonstrative of Germany intending to foment enmity against the USA, so showing their “independence” thereof, never mind their openly aligning with the enemies of the USA and Israel.
