Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif over the phone on Friday to discuss the killing of Iran's military chief Qassem Soleimani, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.

"Lavrov expressed his condolences over the killing," the statement said. "The ministers stressed that such actions by the United States grossly violate the norms of international law."

After all of the people the Russians have killed on the turf of foreign countries, he makes such a statement.

So the Russians also have fools in public office. He sounds like the Russian version of Schiff or Kerry.

“The ministers stressed that such actions by the United States grossly violate the norms of international law.”

Is spreading violence and terrorism around the world a violation of international law? This is ridiculous. Iran essentially declared war on us, and on Israel, years ago. If it was Obama who did this the media would be declaring him the best foreign policy president ever.

No no no no no they are not

This is what they disingenuous and lying Democrats have tried to put the United States into

Russia is becoming more Christian by the day

They are naturally our ally against the major threat of Islam

They fought with us bravely in World War II against the evil German Empire

Putin isn’t going to get into a shooting war with the US because some POS Iranian general was killed.

Iran’s air space hasn’t even been violated.

the POS was killed in Iraq.

But if Iran keeps messing up, their air space will be violated.

And it will be unlike anything they’ve ever seen.

China can’t survive long without a SLOW DOWN in trade with us.

They need all out war like they need a hole in the head.

They would also essentially be giving up trillions in debt we owe them that they’d never get paid back.

Russia doesn’t have the $$ for a sustained war. They were running out of money to fund syria operations.

Russia and China have advisers that live in the Real World regarding America’s capabilities.

Middle eastern countries are dreamers with “this will be the mother of all wars” nonsense.

And if Iran does push it and we end up going all out on them...well to quote a line from an old movie..

“Now they will know why they are afraid of the dark. Now they learn why they fear the night.

Yes to your China point also.

Not to mention Iran’s own fragile foundations...

Everyone keeps talking about our so called greater ‘Middle East’ strategy but I believe our moves with Iran have more to do with our greater Russia/China (and even E.U.) strategy. They don’t want war, but we need to nip the bud in their use of Iran as a means to pester us.

Putin would have done even more - they’re just keeping the skids greased because they have no interest in antagonizing Iran themselves - I ran is doing a fine job all by itself.

So, has Mohammad Javad Zarif finally had John Kerry’s lips surgically removed from his posterior?
