Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) may be 78, but he’s 78 going on 30. He thinks like a millennial. And he’s got the energy and the political passion to match.
A lot of millennials want free stuff — and Bernie is the guy who wants to give it to them. A lot of millennials think socialism is a great idea. So does Bernie.
Bernie doesn’t simply want to change a few things about America so that they match his vision of what this country ought to be. That would be, to him anyway, like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
No, Bernie wants a revolution — his words, not mine. Here’s what he said in 2015, the last time he ran for president: “What my campaign is about is a political revolution — millions of people standing up and saying, ‘Enough is enough.’ Our government belongs to all of us, and not just the handful of billionaires.”
This time around, he’s a lot more pithy. “I don’t think billionaires should exist,” he said in an interview. “I hope the day comes when they don’t.”
“Americans have always been in love with the idea of success,” Peggy Noonan has written in her Wall Street Journal column. “It’s rewarded the creation of wealth, made household saints of the richest men in the world. We were proud they lived here.”
That was before progressives became the driving force in the Democratic Party, however. Now Bernie Sanders is a serious contender for the party’s nomination for president, but he and his fellow progressives don’t sound like they’re proud that rich people live in America.
At his rallies, Sanders can’t spit out the word “billionaires” without his face turning red and his blood pressure rising. He makes rich people sound like bank robbers, or worse.

You can’t even count on the two billionaires running for president on the Democratic side to say a kind word in defense of their fellow tycoons. In today’s Democratic Party, that would be an act of political suicide.
Bigger question is why do America’s rich keep writing them checks?

Guilt - desire to be invited to the ‘cool’ Hollywood parties... believing the myth ‘young people’ will look up to them if they give to liberal causes... Writing a check to ‘help the poor’ gives them leeway to do horrible things...
It’s a simple distraction while the steal the wealth of American citizens. They or any politician who behaves in the manner of the Biden Ukraine corruption should be tried at the level of an 1800’s horse thief.
Money is a fungible form of power, particularly useful to those lacking other forms, like beauty, charisma or political or bureaucratic authority, or force of arms.
In childhood, everyone fell in love with the Robin Hood story.
Then we grew up... MOST of us
Democrats thrive on hatred. Getting their people to hate the ‘right’ people is how they maintain their power.
If you listen to them the Democrats always get around to tell you their true beliefs about the constitution and about our economic system.
The great irony no one talks about is that many of “the rich” are rich BECAUSE of government support, and zero-interest, printed money. Many are insiders or taking advantage of a huge, complex, government-supported, rent-seeking system. Our printed, fiat, centrally-planned Federal Reserve supports the entire financialization of the US economy.
I haven’t heard Warren or Sanders make a peep about ending any of that.

My guess is that most Democrats’ gains were mostly not by achieved their own blood, sweat and tears.
So, they project their unworthiness upon others with wealth. They project much they don’t like about themselves upon others, the demonize those others.
Was arguing with a self-avowed “democratic-socialist” today. Eventually got him to admit my point that to make “health care”, or any other service, “free”... That you are essentially putting a government gun to a private individuals head to force them to do business with you. Making them your slave.
He saw nothing wrong with that attitude and claimed I was arguing semantics.
Oh well..

Remember, socialism leads to Communism. So, how do you create a Socialistic State ? There are 8 levels of control; read the following recipe.
1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.
2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.
3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.
6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people.
8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor
This - is - the Democrat agenda!!!!!
