You probably hit on the correct point. Just in Iraq itself, there’s probably 10,000 Iraqis with a wish to kill the guy. Toss in probably well over a million Iranians themselves with a desire to do the guy in. Whoever pushed the button on this....has intensified events in Iraq for 2020 a good bit.

We know how wars start but never how they end. This is a big deal like Iran or Iraq taking out one of our leading generals when we were not at war. China and Russia might like to see a new war sink our economy.
Am I the only one more than tired of ME wars that kill thousands of us and that have put us more trillions into debt. They do absolutely nothing to benefit the USA while deflecting from our real security needs on our borders and creating millions more Muslim refugees that are destroying the West. We need to depart the Middle East in its entirety and protect our own.
So lets allow Israel and Saudis take care of their own neighborhood. They provided the intel just like they did when we invaded Iraq in 2003.
