I hate to break it to you but the last thing any Iraqi (or Muzzy anywhere) wants is freedom. If you are Sunni you want to kill Shiites. If you are Shiite you want to kill Sunnis. That is ALL they want.

Yep - some think he needs to “do something” about Iraq’s own swamp while he knows that encouraging their citizens to build their own resistance is the best path in lieu of all-out war.
He has Iran in ever more desperate straits and if a war happens, it will be a result of their thrashing around to a point where they need to be put down.
