Favorite pastime of 75% of the population of South Georgia come New Years . It ain’t the rednecks, in case you are wondering. Even had a dumb sheriff’s deputy get caught using his service weapon to celebrate one year. Needless to say he lost that job, especially since he was with his cousin the convicted felon.

I didn’t get a good vib when first arriving in the area. So I relocated about an hour away to a much smaller city and never looked back. People here at least understand common sense!
I think they do that up at Squirrel Hill too....I was visiting my son there one NY Eve and he said to expect that and sure enough it happened!
