On Veteran’s Day, I accept gifts of chocolate, cupcakes or ammo. ;)
Ha!
The United States got along fine before the interstates were built in the 1950s. Many things before then, including human transportation, were handled by rail.
But the point is that 20 deaths in a military zone in one year is virtually nothing. They just want to use the number to portray Trump as a monster then, if he decides to totally pull out like he did in Syria, they portray him as a heartless monster.
Mourn the deaths all you want and question why we are there but I trust Trump to handle the situation competently more than Bush or Obama. When the time is right, he’ll withdraw just like with Syria.
*** When the time is right, hell withdraw just like with Syria. ***
I know Soldiers from TX who deployed to Syria in the past month. That is not a withdrawal.
The US population has nearly doubled since 1950 so, reality probably points to a doubling of the need to move more goods, and more humans using the roadways. The US doesn’t have the high speed rail to which much of the world has access (and which I have found quite terrifying when I was hurtling through a Country via high-speed rail).
