There is no reason for a Republican president to pay any attention to NY state anymore; let it continue circling the drain. My state of NJ is in the same boat; both states want Trump to send billions for a makework project (building another tunnel under the Hudson River between them), while attacking Trump simultaneously.
Trump should direct those funds elsewhere, to American states.

NY state senate and assembly can easily override it’s veto.
