Our lawless attorney general said the same thing about the Virginia constitution and refused to uphold his oath and defend it.

Well, then the state AG and the governor need to make their move...

Herring, a Democrat, said Friday the localities and local constitutional officers “cannot nullify state laws” and must follow the gun laws passed by the General Assembly.

Except those laws being unconstitutional. At this stage we are seeing only word craft from the AG. What it will really boil down to is when the rubber hits the road. How is he going to force counties to enforce these laws when at that time they will likely be seriously tied up in courts with the laws suspended until adjudicated.

This is a serious increase in leftist rhetoric and could result in a Bundy ranch standoff X1000

Whether or not Second Amendment sanctuaries (and the Second Amendment) have legal effect, it would be prudent for the thug class to look at how widespread the support for freedom is. I would hate to see the totalitarian left cross a line that more prudent bullies would turn back from.

Let me see if I got this right. Mark Herring the Virginia AG opines that it is unconstitutional for counties to declare they are sanctuaries from unconstitutional (both federal and state) laws. I wonder what his opinion is on his oath of office “to defend and support the constitution”?

Interesting I wonder if he feels the same way about illegal alien sanctuary cities?

[ Herring, a Democrat, ]

I’m shocked, SHOCKED I tell ya! (that he’s a Democrat)

These folks don’t want you to have your Second Amendment rights:

1) Democrats.
2) The United Nations.
3) Globalists who always preach the virtues of “The New World Order”.

Gee, I wonder why that is?

Sure they do. Virginia outlaws “sanctuary cities” by definition but allow their cities to operate as sanctuary cities.

He’s right. The 2nd Amendment sanctuary resolutions are presently only statements of intent because the state of Virginia has not yet enacted the anti-gun legislation the Democrats threaten. This will change when they do.

“Herring, a Democrat, said Friday the localities and local constitutional officers “cannot nullify state laws” and must follow the gun laws passed by the General Assembly.”

Let me Fix that!

The State “cannot nullify the constitution” and must follow the constitution of the united states of America.

Some proposals, such as universal background checks, have broad public support, according to polls.

SO! Public support does not give you the right to violate the Constitution

"Herring, a Democrat, said Friday the localities and local constitutional officers “cannot nullify state laws” and must follow the gun laws passed by the General Assembly."

Congress to the rescue (yeah, right) of Virginia patriots whose express constitutional rights are being abridged by renegade commonwealth officials!

Patriots are reminded that the states have given Congress the express 14th Amendment (14A) power to make penal laws to discourage state and commonwealth officials from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections.

From the 14th Amendment:

H O W E V E R…

We’re still stuck with a worthless Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that will predictably munch popcorn while watching commonwealth officials take away everybody’s guns on CNN.

The remedy for constitutionally failed federal and commonwealth governments…

All patriots in the country need to come to the rescue of citizens being oppressed by Virginia by electing a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to fully support PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, now KAGA, but will also do this.

New patriot lawmakers also need to promise to exercise their 14A power to make laws that discourage state and commonwealth actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated rights, 2nd Amendment protections in this example.

Remember in November!

MAGA! Now KAGA! (Keep America Great Again!)

“Herring, a Democrat, said Friday the localities and local constitutional officers “cannot nullify state laws”...”

If the state can nullify The Constitution, localities and local constitutional officers can nullify state law.

Attorney General Mark Herring, in advisory opinion, says 'Second Amendment Sanctuaries' have 'no legal effect'

The battle over the Constitution will not be fought in court, and law books will have little to do with it.
