Lets hope Yertle and Linda smack her down.

They wouldn't dare.

Instead, they're gonna have a jaw-jaw with Pelosi's Lieutenant Schumer. He's the one who'll give the two Pubbies their marching orders.

Failing at their 4th attempt to impeach won’t even slow them down. They won’t stop until they are stopped. You cannot share a country with people who are rabidly delusional.

I don't think that the majority moonbats have yet come to terms that Trump is still their president, and that Hillary is still a drunken old grandmother wandering in the woods.

Of course the Democrats can continue to throw handfuls of **** against the wall, but the impact of each handful is going to diminish exponentially with each new handful of ****.

The law of diminishing stench.

The Senate should do NOTHING. As far as they are concerned there are no articles of impeachment until they show up at their doorstep. Act accordingly.

SCOTUS should give Pelosi 30 days to send the Articles to the Senate or the impeachment charges become null and void.

“The House must first appoint members who will manage its case during the trial.”

“First” before WHAT?

“before the Senate can try him? I don’t think so!

Before they can participate? Sure. Except it’s not required for them to participate.

“The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.”

The House can’t do Schitt about the trial. The Senate has “SOLE” power.

sole:

one and only.
“my sole aim was to contribute to the national team”
synonyms:
only · one (and only) · single · solitary · lone · unique · only possible · individual · exclusive · singular

The House has ZERO “power” over the trial.

The Senate has the “only”, the “solitary”, the “lone”, the “only possible”, the “exclusive”, POWER to try ALL impeachments.

The Senate, by a majority vote, MAKES ITS OWN RULES.

Existing Senate rules on impeachment are not BINDING on ANY Senate. They can be CHANGED by a majority vote at ANY time.

In other words Nancy Pelousy has ZERO control, ZERO say or sway over the impeachment “trial”.

“The Senate’s “Rules of Procedure When Sitting On Impeachment Trials” (i.e., the Impeachment Rules)...”

The Senate’s “Rules of Procedure When Sitting On Impeachment Trials” are whatever the CURRENT MAJORITY in the Senate, SAYS THEY ARE.

The first thing the Congress does is vote on “a rule” for whatever they are considering. They vote on a “rule”.

The “rule” is the parameters or rules of how the current business before the branch of Congress is to be handled.

Hours of debate, days until the final vote, what is to be “included/excluded” etc. THE RULES they must abide by.

Currently, this would be a Republican majority of 50 + 1.

ANY “standing rules” in the Senate, only “stand”, until they CHANGED!

EXACTLY! This whole article (pun intended) is based on BULLSHIRT!

The Senate rules are whatever the majority says they are. They don’t do anything without voting on the “rules”.

Does this writer think that Mitch McConnell and the Republicans are going to use the “existing” rules as is?

He writes this article as if he does or to confuse/misinform the readers. He is certainly doing the latter.
