This is in no way a phenomena that started with the election of President Trump. This has been growing and expanding since the Nixon resignation. Slowly at first, and then increasing steadily and then rapidly with the treatment of disdain for every Republican since, and the whitewashing of every Democrat, by our so called “free press”. That growth & expansion grew as the press became increasingly an extension of the Democrat Party.
I gave up on the press in1992 when it was so obvious they were supporting the Arkansas Rapist for President. Peter Jennings started every ABC broadcast with a derivation of “More Bad news for MISTER Bush”. Every broadcast started with some negative story about Bush.
