Officials said Saturday that Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey, a vocally anti-impeachment Democrat, will join the Republican Party in the coming days following a Friday meeting with President Trump — a move that would put a political chill on the Democrats’ expected vote to impeach Trump next week.
Two Democratic officials familiar with Van Drew’s discussions in recent days said they believe he has decided to switch parties. The White House meeting was confirmed by a Trump administration official and one of the Democratic officials.

Apparently Jeff has some integrity.
When politicians start switching parties that is a big deal. They are smart enough to see the handwriting on the wall.
The optics are DEVASTATING for the rats. The last few sane rats want no part of the suicide and are jumping ship. CNN and Soros are deeply saddened.
This also puts the GOP one step closer to taking the House back. They don’t have to invest in a fight here now.
That and/or knows on which side his bread is buttered. Plus there’s the sinking ship thing.
I’d rather he wait until after the impeachment vote, so history will record that not even all Democrats voted for it. But this is still good.

If I was one of those 31 Democrats in a House district that Trump won in 2016, I would be seriously thinking about changing my party affiliation right now.
