What the IG Senate Hearing is omitting

This is my very first post, so please be patient with me. I believe this to be very important. Why is no one in this Senate Hearing even mentioning the C.I.A.? This video contains important information that is not in the IG report. This relates to the predicate for Crossfire Hurricane.

On April 20th, Erica Thompson, assistant to Alexander Downer, reaches out to George Papadopoulos to set up a meeting with Alexander Downer. This is completely out of the blue, neither George or Trump have mentioned Australia.

On April 26th, George Mifsud tells George that the Russians have dirt ( emails?) on Hillary.

On May 6, Erica Thompson emails George inviting George to meet Downer.

On May 10th, they all meet, with Downer directing the conversation to Trump's ties to Russia. Specifically probing about the Hillary emails.

BTW, Erica Thompson is dating Israeli "political officer" Christian Cantor. Actually, Christian and Erica are both intelligence officers for their respective countries, something Erica has repeatedly denied. As of September 2018, the pair were reportedly engaged.

To me, this smells like a C.I.A. setup. I believe this is what Barr and Durham know, but Horowitz does not know.

Because that is outside the DOJ IG's jurisdiction. Durham will be the one to connect those dots.

Horowitz can only look at DoJ.

Barr has said he is looking wider/ casting a wider investigative net.

You may be right.

It was all a CIA play, including the entire Kenyanesian Usurpation that enabled all of the crimes therein.
Brennan was the “fixer” that got rid of inconvenient documents and people to pave the way for the Kenyan from Indonesia.
They probably started the “birther” Alinsky to shut down any discussion of Obama’s ineligibility.
The GOP was only to happy to help, they had a stable full of ineligibles they wanted to run.

Because none of this is about justice. None of it. Not Horowitz, not Durham - none of it.

It's kabuki theater, designed to make it look like something is being done, to satiate the peasants while we eat cake. I feel sorry for the mindless saps that think Durham will be any different.

whorowitz’s job is to only cover-up crimes of the FBI and DoJ. There is a different IG who covers-up CIA crimes.

How's that cake tasting?

You are correct...the CI_A led the FBI into the investigation. The reason you are not hearing anything about it in the IG report is because the IG has no power to subpoena anyone or launch a criminal investigation or convene a grand jury or (and most importantly) investigate any intelligence agency. (ie - The CI_A) That is what Durham is doing. (I think you already know the names of the DNI and clown agency directors Durham might be very interested in having a talk with...and probably already has...)

You have a good point about jurisdiction. Like most, I didn’t know that fact. Other reasons for only minimal focus on
the CIA? Well, every branch of the government needs a good pruning, weeding and flushing at some point. It takes time.
Then, one must go counter to the lingering belief that these agencies are operating for the benefit of the American people. I believed that for most of my life until just recently.

The Lois Lerner IRS debaucheries, the Fast & Furious capers, the illegal importation and dumping of unemployable Somalians in certain states like Minnesota changed how I feel about my government. The fact that no one has been prosecuted for these crimes, I still find incredible. I am now almost as skeptical of my (Swamp-Run) government as some Russians were of the Kremlin during the Cold War. Maybe it’s always been this way, and people like Trump are smoking them out of their corners.

Long story short, the CIA is but one of many institutions that need to be fixed or eliminated. Their day will come.

The Dem Senators are repeatedly asking Horowitz why Barr and Durham disagree with him. They think that’s terrible.

I find myself screaming at the TV: MIFSUD MIFSUD MIFSUD!!!

It is very frustrating. I need a drink.

Thanks for a good first post. And I enjoyed the video. Not only the information but the visuals..haven’t been to the areas shown in the vid since I was a teenager.

I like to think of it as “junk politics”.

I’ll agree with the others. Horowitz is only a DOJ IG. He probably has to beg and plead to get people in the DOJ to talk to him.

The CIA’s purpose in entrapping Page and Papadopoulos while they were overseas was that the CIA can claim this all began internationally, where they are allowed to operate.

My big question is - WHY is no one talking about John Carlin? He was DOJ head of National Security Division at the time. His job would have been to approve and sign-off on all FISA requests. He and Comey also did NOT inform the FISA courts that NSA director Rogers was shutting down illegal “702” queries of databases on Trump staff, because he found they were being done improperly. He resigned just before the election in 2016 when he learned NSA’s Rogers was going to the FISA court directly to advise them they were getting illegally-obtained information.

Maybe Durham will have some surprises for John Carlin.

Horowitz does know he just has plausible deniability.

The problem with investigating the CIA using the DOJ is time. The CIA will use classification and every other obstacle to evade justice. Unless we have our people inside willing to spill the beans I think it is a lost cause. The CIA is warrented to do unethical things. It is what they do. Someone told the CIA to spy on the campaign. Go after those people. If anyone can cover their tracks it is the CIA.

As others have said, the DoJ’s IG is limited to interviewing DoJ/FBI personnel. This is a design flaw from my perspective, but an important feature for the Deep Staters.

Bear in mind that the DoJ/FBI has lawyers on staff who know the IG’s constraints and methods. Malefactors design their misconduct so that IG will miss the obvious. They also split tasks with CIA so that neither the DoJ’s IG nor ICIG is allowed to see the whole picture. Then all can pretend they have “found no evidence”, etc.

On Nov 17, 2016 Adm. Rogers made an unexpected visit to Trump Tower bit.ly/2EyKy9A ( I believe to tell Trump that Trump Towers was being surveilled. )

On Nov 18, 2016 Trump transition team relocated to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster

Coincidence?

You know it would still be smart for the GOP to bring that up. Ask questions of Horowitz that he cannot answer and have Horowitz say why he can’t answer it. Then ask...so you didn’t really investigate the true predicate of the investigation.
