My understanding is that the term “bad faith” has a legal meaning, especially coming from the AG.

Barr argued that Horowitz didn’t look very hard, and that the inspector general accepted the FBI’s explanations at face value.
“All he said was, people gave me an explanation and I didn’t find anything to contradict it … he hasn’t decided the issue of improper motive,” Barr said. “I think we have to wait until the full investigation is done.”
Barr said he stood by his assertion that the Trump campaign was spied on, noting that the FBI used confidential informants who recorded conversations with Trump campaign officials.
You’re watching something different than everyone else. Sessions never came out of hiding and can’t hold Barr’s jockstrap.
This interview was pointed out on FR, so I took a look. But I also checked out Chuck Todd’s twitter feed, and it was mind boggling in it’s universal praise of him and virtual condemnation of Cruz, his performance, and his very being. So many crazies all out there...
This interview, at NBC, is proof positive, that Barr and Durham are serious and comey, clapper, obama, etal are now cleaning their collective diapers.
There is no retreat, this is now the Alamo.

Amazingly, Barr is willing to predict that Durham’s ongoing investigation will be “reaching an important watershed, perhaps, in late spring, early summer” (of 2020).
Bagpipe Bill moving the goal posts to next summer? Awesome.
What Barr is doing here is making Spygate a political issue to be settled in November 2020 and not a criminal one because the GOP will never support criminally prosecuting their Democrat friends to the benefit of Donald J. Trump. It’s that simple.
MSNBC must have a good time coming here and reading some of the posts.

Today, Rush is giving his audience a glimpse of the global fight we’re in. I’ve been estranged from Rush ever since I failed his KooK test years ago, but have come back since the election of DJT. I can’t help but think of the wasted decades that were wasted while he waved the Republican banner for globalist stiffs, but better late than never. It’s water under the bridge, and I’ll stand with anyone who defends Trump. This said, I’ll pray for Barr & Durham to do the right thing while at the same time personally prepare for a Spring/Summer/Fall from hell. Our votes will give us a beachhead but we’ll need to fight to keep it.
The use of the words “may have” is an understatement.
As the FBI’s supervisor and the likely initiator of a series of criminal prosecutions of FBI, CIA, and DoJ personnel, Barr must be correct and restrained in his comments or he will jeopardize the chances of getting convictions. otherwise, if Barr expresses premature and improper fire and brimstone against his targets, he will get accused of rigging up politically motivated prosecutions.
There is not much of Barr’s point of view here, but the fact that MSNBC is allowing any of the truth at all, is a huge development. Add to that Ratcliffe’s revealing interview with Bret Baier (the MSM faction of Fox News), and what we have is the beginning of the end for the MSM’s exclusively anti Trump narrative.
I think once the bubble is burst, the fake news will abandon the DNC in a heartbeat.
This is because their Leftist bias is not deep-seated or based on rationality or principle - it is a shallow, cult-like adherence to what they smugly believe is the moral high ground. Their proclivity to group-think renders them collectively simpleminded, making them easily duped into buying the Left’s lofty sounding slogans and platitudes about equality, diversity and inclusiveness.
Once they realize they are on the wrong side of this scandal they will jump ship and no longer allow the DNC to spoon feed them their daily talking points. They will quickly try rewrite history and take credit for uncovering the truth - they will, no doubt receive Pulitzer Prizes for it.
The Democrat politicians, however, will have to go down with the ship, betrayed by their fair weather friends in the media.
It will be a beautiful thing to watch the MSM turn on the Democrats.

When transcript of complete #AGBarr interview appears it will be big news from start to finish and will confirm (1) the AG is at least the equal of best lawyer for this job in U.S. and (2) Pete Williams is at least the equal of best DOJ reporter in U.S.
I think you are right - something has changed and the President is finally ready to make his move.
President Trump and his team thought all of this through a long, long time ago, and worked out all of the likely scenarios. They have been biding their time, waiting patiently for the pieces to fall into place.
That’s just a feeling I got from hearing the President say a couple weeks ago “I caught the swamp. I caught them all.”
