Just how bad was the FBI’s Russia FISA? 51 violations and 9 false statements
John Solomon Reports ^ | December 9, 2019 | John Solomon

To understand just how shoddy the FBI’s work was in securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting the Trump campaign, you only need to read an obscure attachment to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report.

Appendix 1 identifies the total violations by the FBI of the so-called Woods Procedures, the process by which the bureau verifies information and assures the FISA court its evidence is true.

The Appendix identifies a total of 51 Woods procedure violations from the FISA application the FBI submitted to the court authorizing surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page starting in October 2016.

A whopping nine of those violations fell into the category called: “Supporting document shows that the factual assertion is inaccurate.”

For those who don’t speak IG parlance, it means the FBI made nine false assertions to the FISA court. In short, what the bureau said was contradicted by the evidence in its official file.

To put that in perspective, former Trump aides Mike Flynn and George Papadopoulos were convicted of making single false statements to the bureau. One went to jail already, and the other awaits sentencing.

The FBI made nine false statements to the court.

And the appendix shows the FBI made another nine factual assertions that did not match the supporting evidence in the file. In another words, the bureau was misleading on nine other occasions.

The vast majority of remaining Woods violations — 33 in total — involved failing to provide any evidence in the Woods procedure backing up assertion in the FISA warrant application.

That’s serious too since the sole purpose of the Wood procedures is to ensure all evidence cited in a FISA application is documented as accurate and reliable so it can be trusted by the courts.

All of these violations were performed deliberately, they were not accidental oversights.

I want to see INDICTMENTS!

I also wonder what Chief Justice Roberts, as the sole appointee of FISA judges for the FISA court, thinks about the Horowitz report, and how his judges were lied to.

“I want to see INDICTMENTS!”

Good luck with that.
This all was designed so Republicans can let out a righteous “harrumph” or two and maybe dash off a strongly worded letter, but that’s the very most they’ll do.

51 violations

9 false statements

Gen Flynn took a plea for false statements after he went broke.

Papadopolous was convicted for false statements.

Stone convicted for false statements.

So, are indictments, prosecutions, convictions and lengthy prison sentences on the way?

I want the names of everyone involved in the Woods application process re the Fisa court applications made public and then put under oath before the Sen Judiciary and Intelligence committees to tell us why they were incompetent, corrupt, or who ordered them to be that way.

There has got to be a criminal defense lawyer out there licking his chops. Imagine what would happen if every criminal that the criminally tainted FBI put in jail filed a suit challenging their truthfulness. After all, lie once and it’s real easy after that.

Challenge the 302’s. Challenge the FISA applications. The courts would be tied up for years. Some might even get out. If I ever serve on a jury where the FBI says one thing, I vote the other way.

Yup....So, we’ll have to wait and see how the DOJ responds to the 9 occurrences of lying, outlined in the IG Report. We all know how criminal and corrupt they are. We’re going to soon be provided another example and how deep that criminal behavior and corruption runs, if they don’t do the same to the people involved with the 9 occurrences of lying.

If President Trump had done that, it would be the lead entry and the only valid item in their articles of impeachment. This crime is actually worse than, for example, President Clinton’s perjury.

The deep start traitors manipulated the FBI and the FISA court to inter the 2020 election. This coup and its underlying treason are by far the most disturbing part of the impeachment charade.

Obama weaponized the FBI, CIA & NSA even worse than he weaponized the IRS.

And that’s the whole reason for the whitewash job on the report.

Challenge the 302’s. Challenge the FISA applications. The courts would be tied up for years. Some might even get out.

That's why Horowitz and the Dept of Injustice will not allow the FBI to be held criminally liable.

They fear that literally thousands of cases and convictions would be overthrown.

The Gestapo must be allowed to retain its power.

Both of you are correct.

General Flynn is an American hero. He was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency under Obama. He knew what Obama and his thugs had done. He knew where all the bodies were buried.

When he campaigned for Trump, the President won, and then Flynn was hired as National Security Advisor - he had to be destroyed.

Just remember: if the Deep State can do this to a 3 star general, and to a billionaire President - they can do almost anything to you, me, and our families.

He knew where all the bodies were buried ....... still knows. Word on the street is, he has some embeds in NSA and DIA and no one knows who they are. However, given how he’s been treated, unless this is all one big sting, how likely will he be to give up what he knows?

When he campaigned for Trump, the President won, and then Flynn was hired as National Security Advisor - he had to be destroyed.....Absolutely. But, isn’t it funny that after he takes his plea, technically gives up the right to appeal, he finds out that the FBI clowns that interviewed him, wrote a report saying they didn’t think he lied.

Just remember: if the Deep State can do this to a 3 star general, and to a billionaire President - they can do almost anything to you, me, and our families.....They CAN AND WILL do anything to you, me and our families to achieve their goals.
