(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding today’s Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General report :
Today’s IG report on the Russiagate FISA abuse provides abundant evidence that the FBI and DOJ massively violated the law in order to obtain the Carter Page spy warrants targeting President Trump.
As IG reports are both exposés and cover-ups at the same time, it is no surprise that the IG punted on implicating senior officials directly in the spy scandal.
President Trump should directly appoint a special counsel from outside of the DOJ and FBI to investigate the Obama/Clinton/Deep State Spygate scandal and other crimes that are in plain sight. In the meantime, Judicial Watch will continue its dozens of Freedom of Information Act lawsuits and investigations, which have already revealed much of what is known about Spygate – the biggest corruption scandal of all time.

Ike was correct in the 1950s when he sensed the country was on the verge of being usurped by a deep state & said so in his last address to the nation.
It’s like an octopus now...strangling the nation.
Its too late to start from scratch, if Durham doesn’t get it done, it wont get done. My guess is everyone walks.

Time honored strategy used across the board — boldly mention a concept, as if it is being addressed — and then somehow never get around to address it again.
Now, we will have to wait for the same scenario to play out, the Republicans will expose wrongdoing by the top FBI and intelligence agent heads and proceed to prosecute; the democrats will respond and outsmart the Republicans.
If Duraham indicts tomorrow, it will all be tied up in court without a expose, a trial, for years, and the media and democrats will be in a knifing and slashing frenzy the whole time.
Only thing left — declassify and publish every freaking document there is on file.

I used to tear up Judicial Watch here years back. Klayman seemed to be more interested in raising money. An he raised a bunch.
