That was Shemp, he of the greasy hair and the oversized suits.
No, I was thinking of Shep, Juan and Donna.
a straight-news gig?
as if Shep ever did it any other way. ;-)

Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer, who is very much a part of the media himself, told a White House staffer to go on offense against the media on Friday.
On Fridays Americas Newsroom, Hemmerwho is supposed to be one of Fox News objective, non-ideological voicesand co-anchor Sandra Smith interviewed White House aide Mercedes Schlapp about the fight between White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and CNNs Jim Acosta.
Acosta had walked out of the White House press briefing on Thursday when Sanders refused to say the media is not the enemy of the people.
Schlapp stood by Sanders.
You know, fake news is dangerous, she said. We know for a fact that many of these so-called news reporters, okay, that go out there have a complete disdain for President Trump.
Schlapp continued by saying that 90 percent of the media coverage for Trump has been negative, and ranted about how the liberal media pushes out fake news, both of which are very vague, false statements.
Hemmer reacted very sympathetically, encouraging Schlapp to be even more combative with reporters.
I dont think you should be defensive about this, you need to go on offense, he said. What the hell?
Hemmer concluded the interview with a comment he wouldnt have made if he was a real journalist: are you tired of winning?
It might not surprise you to learn that Hemmer has reportedly been floated as a possible successor to Sanders as White House press secretary. The segment proved once again that Fox News is only interested in impressing Trump by throwing all other normal journaliststhose who are actually doing their jobs to keep the president accountableunder the bus.
Good. I was surprised when they initially pegged Chris Wallace for the job. He is way too dull and boring for anything but a slow paced Sunday talking head job. Hemmer is probably the best choice from what they have in their stable.
Of course, anything would be better than Shep.
Bill Hemmer is a good choice. He is still a honest and unbiased journalist, IMO.
Yeah. Hemmer is certainly better than the hysterical Shepherd Fairy.
Who replaces him in the morning?
The Fox news article did not say.
Given the little I've heard from her Arthell Neville seems at least as bad as Sheppell.
Bitter little Biden baby.
I agree, can’t stand Arthell, someone on their said something about Bidens quid pro quo with Ukraine and she jumped all over her, couldn’t believe it, it’s right on the tape Biden saying to fire the prosecutor. Anyway I had to turn and haven’t been able to stand her since.
Love me some Bill Hemmer tho. He’ll be a great improvement.
I’m all for replacing Cavuto on Fox News. He sucks, but is a VP for Fox Business News.
Just do it with Stuart Varney or Charles Payne (financial guys). Lou Dobbs is more of a general news guy.
Arthel should be fired. She shows her bias against Trump whenever she speaks.
