Biden is a Catholic. He should know the difference between right and wrong.
Biden is an attorney. He should understand the law.
Biden was in the US Senate for decades. He headed the Senate judiciary committee. He should understand the rules and laws pertaining to conflicts of interest for government officials and their families. He should also be fully aware of, if not fully participating in, the “opportunities” presented to members of Congress and their families to accrue wealth and power. An ethical member of Congress, or Vice President of the United States, will be keenly sensitive to even the slightest hint of impropriety with respect to himself and those around him and be proactive in avoiding the perception of improper activity.
Biden knew his son is a weak man who frequently falls to temptation and consistently behaves unethically and immorally.
As VP of the United States, and Obama’s point person on Ukrainian affairs, Biden knew of the rampant corruption in that nation. Knowing the ease of his son falling for temptation, a loving and morally straight father would never have taken his son to Ukraine. A loving father with the vast experience experience of Joe Biden, a man who has claimed he is ready to serve as president, would have immediately intervened when he learned Hunter had been hired by a Ukrainian company.
Biden, like all progressive politicians, constantly derides his political opponents for moral and ethical failings while holding himself up as a paragon of virtue.
Biden has condemned himself by his own behavior. An innocent and virtuous man would demand an impartial investigation of his and his son’s activities to preserve his honor and good name. Instead Biden deflects and shirks accountability.
Meanwhile no one in the GOP is demanding a special prosecutor to investigate Hunter and Joe. Why?
The entire affair reeks of corruption, not stupidity. The silence of Republicans is telling. Biden is not stupid. He knows his friends will protect him.
