Speaking to conservative radio host Mark Levin, Rep. Devin Nunes revealed he’s considered legal action over House Intel Chair Adam Schiff’s snooping on his phone records.
Nunes believes his civil liberties have been violated.

I’m going to be looking for all my legal options on this, too. I mean, my civil liberties were violated here. Adam Schiff, just because he’s chairman, doesn’t have the right to go subpoena, put a big fishing net out there , go grab a bunch of phone numbers, and have AT&T give you all the people they’ve talked to, and then him smear me and say, “Oh, he had all these conversations with Rudy Giuliani.”
Devin Nunes recently filed a $435 million dollar lawsuit against CNN for a story about him he says is demonstrably false.
Nunes also discussed Schiff releasing his personal phone calls in a Fox interview with Martha MacCallum.
Stop thinking about it. Do it!

We should hit them with every little legal action possible. It’s called fighting fire with fire.
Apparently Schiff linked together some office numbers with some names, and spun it as a big, proven conspiracy. I got this from listening to Nunes talk about it in an interview on FOX.
So, the question comes down to slander and abuse of process, versus Schiff’s inevitable claim that it was part of an investigation, necessary to “preserve the Constitution of our democracy” or some such crap.
ANY DEm would have filed a lawsuit 15 MINUTES after this report came out!!

This is exactly what the Republicans need to do. Sue the Democrats over everything. Swamp them like they do us.

I’m somewhat surprised Schiff’s standby lawyers didn’t stop this from happening. They too should be hauled in court for not advising Schiff of its potential illegality.
If he does not sue, he is a fool and essentially condones the same bad behavior in the future.
First, I think he has to prove what Schiff actually did to get the #s. What subpoena did he use to get the #s.
Was it a legal subpoena? Or did Schiff get it in other ways and just make it look like it was legit? Did Schiff just make it all up? Did he have CIA/NSA give it to him illegally? Nunes can’t go to court and say he got some info and I’m offended. He needs to figure out what his options are first.
Maybe he already knows though...and maybe he’s trying to get Schiff to react so he can use that reaction to prove something in his (criminal or civil complaint). Nunes is not a fence sitter...he’s one of the few (if not the only) one in congress that actually does something.
Couldn’t Schiff be disbarred?
That's why every line in the call log Schiff posted had Rudy Giuliani or Lev Parnas as either the person who initiated the call or the person who received the call.
