I can tell people the economy is up by the amount of traffic everywhere I go.
Today I was in a medium-sized city of 300,000 and a smaller city of about 100,000 and traffic was way busier everywhere than 3 or 4 years ago. There’s lots of growth and low unemployment in both areas. Even my small town of 20k people has become crowded and busy.
All this with regular unleaded gas prices still north of $3/gal in our area.
