Starting today, I have lost respect for Kellyanne. Trump will never fire a person because of the things their spouse says, but it’s obvious now to everyone, that this guy makes her look foolish, like she does in this photo.

she should resign, and save Trump any further embarrassment, or better yet, dump this asshat.

President respects loyalty. It will be Melania who raises the question.

Nothingburger is our word. They are trying to co-opt it like rule of law.

_______

It's an existential nothingburger. lol

This freak Karlan can't even walk on a sidewalk in front of a Trump building.

The funny thing is as the Democrats and their Fredocon quisling hangers on know full well, this entire impeachment exercise has literally been about nothing.

What George sarcastically called a “nothingburger.” Let them own impeachment.

_____________

They own it ........ I can hear 'the whistle blow' as the decrepit impeachment train comes down the tracks.

"There was always something curious about Conway’s insults directed at the President (what does he possibly achieve by attacking his wife’s boss?), but, with this barrage targeting Melania and Barron, he is venturing into dangerous territory."

__________

Yes. When I heard this story of George Conway "roughing up" Melania .... my mind went to the image of an old Trump cohort....

... paybacks.

Here's a bit of what is curious about George's behavior.

(1) If he and his wife have a genuine marital relationship, he is certainly damaging it.

(2) If he and his wife are staying together for the sake of the children, he is bringing poison into that relationship which is certainly going to affect said children.

(3) If he and Kellyanne are heading for divorce court, he is damaging his own case by portraying himself in a very ugly light.

Long story short, I just can't figure out George's motivation. He's a lawyer ("of counsel"...not a partner or associate) with a respected firm (Wachtel, Lipton IIRC) and his public attacks are certainly out of character for such firm.

The only possible motive I can think of is that he is trying to generate cheap publicity to increase his appeal to prospective emotionally-driven clients who just happen to hate the President.

She’s a devout Catholic. Separation or divorce is possible but only under certain circumstances as approved by the diocesan ordinary (bishop). She’ll know if and when George crosses the line.

Good points.

I guess the head honchos at the firm just tell prospective clients that George is just the filthy junkyard dog they keep chained at the back fence to hate on anything Donald Trump.

I guess it is possible that a benefactor who was hurt by Cohn might be paying George to attack Trump. Cohn was certainly a ruthless SOB and was hated by many.

As an aside, Trump's use of Cohn demonstrates just how willing Trump is to play hardball. Most develops wouldn't get within 10 miles of a guy like Cohn...but Trump seemed to relish the idea of having a pit bull like Cohn on retainer.

I have to believe that he and his wife are trying to run a James Carville/Mary Matlin kind of show. Otherwise I can’t understand why Kellyanne hasn’t strangled him by now.

George: Don’t defend yourself, you only make the problem worse. Trump may as well resign today - look what he’s putting the country through.

Very interesting. Is it possible that George is intentionally trying to cross such a line? What would such a “line” be?

Nothingburger!?? It was a PLANNED and REHEARSED ATTACK from the exceedingly ugly and hateful Karlan.

Then FATSO (who will soon need to bookmark the chin where his mouth is to brush his teeth) piles on by bullying Melania.

Hey George - Have you stopped beating your wife and kids???

Nope.

Mary and Jim were fun and funny and were actually in love in private and in public.

This is a completely different dynamic ..... God knows what the heck it is though.

When is Kdellyanne going to conclude she has had enough of this waste of skin of a husband and do something about it? When??
