Georgia Senate pick Kelly Loeffler's full introductory comments
AJC ^ | 12/4/2019 | Kelly Loeffler

Posted on 12/04/2019 8:14:56 AM PST by TexasGurl24

Kelly Loeffler intends to portray herself as strong supporter of President Donald Trump, a critic of the “impeachment circus” and an outspoken opponent of abortion rights when she’s introduced Wednesday as Georgia’s next U.S. senator.

In prepared remarks obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the financial executive will introduce herself to Georgia voters as an outsider who will fight the “socialist gang” in Washington bent on defeating the president.

We’ll see. Funny I don’t see Abrams rubbing elbows with any Conservatives. She may be doing it with business folks in Atlanta, but I don’t see her anywhere else.

You have your opinion on her, wait and see. That’s cool

I’d rather she and her husband go back to Ansley Golf Club, the Piedmont Driving Club, Bones or the Cherokee Town Club and stay out of politics. Isakson was bad enough.

Ok?

Well she’s there now. She said what she said in that statement.

Short of you wanting to go and physically drag her out....what the hell is the point of telling us “not to be fooled”?

If she is how she portrays herself, then the votes will reflect that. If not, then she will get the boot.

Either she is lying or you didn’t know her as well as you thought. That’s really all there is to the situation beyond yelling.

“Ihave no problem taxing the rich”

several years ago I would of disagreed with you vehemently. However we have lowered their taxes over the last thirty + years and the more we lower them the more liberal they become. I started changing my mind during the 2012 amnesty open borders fiasco. If they want to turn our country into a third world toilet for cheap labor and Democrat votes than they need to pay more taxes. I don't know what their fair share is but when they vote Democrat they are obviously not paying enough taxes. When the corporate media gives us nothing but Democrat party slime liar filth than corporations need to pay more taxes. It is insane to keep their taxes low.

As an aside, what’s up with these politicos. This gov’s named Kemp, the gentleman from Loosiana’s named Kennedy. Are political dynasts moving themselves South and moving their politics right-ward?

$750k to Romney. Nothing to Trump until she wanted to buy a Senate seat. The proof is in the pudding right there. Did she even vote for Trump? I have my doubts.

She wouldn’t face a primary until 2026. 7 years. This is pure blackmail by the GOPe. Vote for our RINO or a Democrat, basically.

Nothing says “Pro=Family” like $750k to “severe conservative” Mitt Romney and ZERO to POTUS until she wanted the Senate seat.

Brazen astroturfing by the GOPe here. No mention of her heavy ties to the globalist oriented financial industry. Now why would that be?

I supported Romney both in the Primaries as well as the gen election. Does that make me a never Trumper.

This site is becoming infested with morons and low grade morons at that.

Did you send nearly a million dollars to Romney AND zero to Trump? I seriously doubt this woman even voted for Trump. Nothing in her background suggests she did.

No doubt we have uncovered another “severe conservative” in this woman. Who knew there were so many around the GOPe. This lady is a phony as a $3 bill and only those hobbyist Republicans lying to themselves can’t see it.

But this woman. A relative nobody. She’s there because of her money. Kemp owes her something and this was his way of paying her, and her husband, back. I hope Collins runs against her next year and sends her fata$$ back to Buckhead where she belongs. Unless Kemp starts doing some of the work he campaigned on, he’s done as well.

There’s no primary next year. Just a non partisan general election and run off for the seat. Collins will face tremendous pressure and get no money to run because it will split the GOP vote and throw the seat to the Dems. Kemp is really, really screwing over conservatives here because of that. This lady wouldn’t face a primary until 2026.

I caught a bit of her speech on my local news. It was finger nails on chalk board painful. Murkowski 2.0 here. If we’re lucky. Most likely a novice candidate like loses in 2020 to an energized Dem. Then the GOP loses a Senate seat. Lovely

I wonder if Kemp nominated a week candidate to entice Abrams to run for Senate? Kemp sure seems terrified of Aunt Jemima. Pathetic, really.

Why wouldn’t Georgia have a primary before the 2020 and 2022 elections?

“Did you send nearly a million dollars to Romney AND zero to
Trump?”

Apparently, she has already donated $100,000 to Trump’s re-election campaign.

“She wouldn’t face a primary until 2026. 7 years.”

She will almost surely face Republicans in the “jungle” special election in 2010 and, if victorious, Republican challengers in the 2022 primary. It’s what Republicans in Georgia do. The good news is the Democrat bench in Georgia is weak. Abrams is jockeying for the VP slot on the ballot in 2020.

False

She has to stand for election next fall. She can still face one, or several, Republican challengers as well as Democrats. She will serve until Jan 2021 unless she wins re-election in Nov 2020

Basically GA special elections are a “jungle primary” where everyone will be on the ballot. If no one gets more then 50%, the 2 highest vote getters face a run off.

You can bet the Democrats Big dollar Donor base will be funding a fake “grass roots” Republican no one has ever hear of against her to try and split the GOP base.

They try this tactic every time here in GA.

Ignore our resident Democrat Fascist party troll. Has no clue at all what he is talking about and merely is doing his best to spread Democrat Fascist Party black propaganda like he always does.
