Yes, a heavy bomber. The Blenheim was a medium bomber, and the Mossie was a twin engine fighter/recon aircraft, made mostly of fir.

Apparently a flight from Israel to the US went missing on ATC scopes in England and RAF jets were scrambled. JPost.com story here.
