I actually read the article in question. It was like a seventh grader wrote it. One sentence actually said “ he will probably be” something, something. She was just guessing!?! Lol. Based on the writing I witnessed, they were probably looking for a reason to let her go.

Newsweek is devastated they couldn’t find anything more negative than tweeting (which obama didn’t know how to do), golfing (which obama did most of the time he was in office) ... and, oh yes, visiting the troops in Afghanistan (which obama was scared shitless to do).

I suspect they responded this way for two reasons:

1. They figured out that this wasn't just politically biased reporting, but that Trump set them up and played them for fools.

2. Trump's response ("I thought they were out of business!" or something like that) is about a thousand times more humiliating than a "Fake news!" rant would have been.
