Those lucky few that come to my house for turkey will enjoy MAGA cups and napkins during cocktails, MAGA plates and flatware during dinner including another helping of MAGA cups and napkins, and for dessert a MAGA pumpkin pie.
I don’t anticipate too much in the way of political discussion...
I noticed that there is no discussion on this one at CNN’s website.
Not only do I not expect the subject to be brought up, I expect that families who are sick and tired of continuous politics will usher family members who bring this up to the door.
Don’t expect any better behavior from the minions of Satan.
Folks are tired already of left-over Impeachment Turkey.. tastes just like crow .. no matter how ya prepare it, it never flew well but does draw flies.. like neoliberals.
I look forward to a table of friends, family and fellowship and not more idle banter about impeachment.
Now, Pass the yams and cranberries.. Thanks and Bon Appetit!!
Make sure you are the one to say the prayer before dinner and work President Trump into it at the end.
How thoughtful of our CNN social minders to offer instruction on politically acceptable conversation at Thanksgiving.
How to talk impeachment on Thanksgiving?
Explain to them the civil war that is about to happen as a result. And that the next civil war will not be like the last except, it will pit family members against family members.
Someone should point out that it was the media who made Trump President in the first place. People naturally vote the opposite way the media wants.
When the topic of impeachment comes up with a democrat I have been thanking them for the impending Trump landslide in 2020. Some look confused, some get angry. I pretty much don’t care how they feel.
12. Who hasn’t testified?
That’s an easy one! A start is Hunter, then Joe, Actually would be lot of fun picking the topper of the Rat Fest ?
Fortunately this has rarely been a big issue in my circle of family and friends. We have plenty else to talk about.
The only exception was back in the Thanksgiving of 2000 when the Bush/Gore election was still up in the air over the Flori-duh recount. Some family members got into quite a row. It was not pleasant and many guests took an early leave that evening. It reinforced what I just said above - it is incredibly rude to interject politics on a day where families are supposed to come together and celebrate.
Don’t forget to have a hissy fit if you get hit with a microaggression.
If anyone talks about impeaching Trump, I will stir their gravy...with the cat litter scoop.
That certainly isn’t new. Hussein and ‘Shellie told people years ago to get into their relatives’ faces if they were in the “wrong” side at holiday gatherings. If I have any relatives supporting dems they hide it from me very well.
Trump is innocent, the democrats guilty.
Pass the gravy please.
#27 My only famous classmate was a Playmate of the Year
Er... what year? : )
Doing research on famous classmates.
