A lot of these “charitable 501(c)3 foundations” are simply ways for wealthy people to shield their assets from taxation, and pass them along to their offspring, in perpetuity.
If somebody REALLY wants to “tax the rich”, he should change the tax laws to tax investment income on the endowments of 501(c)3 organizations at the full corporate rate.

Now tell me who got paid what and let’s see their expenses. You know darn well they’re just siphoning money out of it.
I believe the NY state authorities have “looked into” the Clinton Foundation and have declared it to be a model of charitable foundations in stark contrast to the Trump foundation. For some reason, Haitians tend to disagree. But what do Haitians know?
