“Your excessive, repeated and politically charged text messages, while you were assigned as the lead case agent on the FBI’s two biggest and most politically sensitive investigations in decades, demonstrated a gross lack of professionalism and exceptionally poor judgment,” the FBI wrote Strzok.

“Your misconduct cast a pall over the FBI’s Clinton email and Russia investigations and the work of the Special Counsel. The immeasurable harm done to the reputation of the FBI will not be easily overcome,” the letter added.

Was Strzok the problem, or was he only a symptom of the overall anti-Trump sentiment within the FBI that persists to this day?

I find it almost impossible to believe that the FBI - who are trained to observe behaviors in other people - failed to pick up on Strzok's anti-Trump opinions before the DOJ IG released the Strzok-Page text messages.

I say the second case, and expect the FIB to kick Strzok fully under the bus.

This dweeb didn’t realize that when you attack the king, you must make sure you take out the king or the king will take you out.

That is exactly what happened

If this dweeb thought he would be able to keep his job after what he did, he is delusional. He should be doing time in a federal prison if you ask me.

He should be prosecuted. Maybe he and the others will be.
But at least he was fired for gross misconduct.

Even after all of the very damaging words in this 27 page report Ms Candace Will only recommended that Strzok be suspended without pay for 2 months and be demoted from his supervisor position.

The voters should be incensed at the gall of the Federal Government employees who believe nobody can be FIRED immediately for activities that are most likely criminal.

The Strozak suit is intended to smoke out the government position on him going forwardthey are in trouble because what was learned is enough to lose the law suit but not to prevent conviction

My wife works for the State. If she mentioned that she voted for Trump they would throw her out the window. She knows to never reveal that she is a conservative.

“suggesting his firing was political retribution for having run the bureau’s counterintelligence investigation into the now debunked allegations that Donald Trump and Russia colluded to hijack the 2016 election.”

Well, duh. It’s called, “dismissal for cause”. It happens every day to employees.
