Not supporting him, but never figured out how the US had or has claim to him since he is a foreign citizen, acting outside the US, and is simply publishing information he receives. Where is our jurisdiction?

The claim is that he didn’t simply publish what Mr. Manning provided him, but also helped him plan the data breach and hack some of the encryption/security.
If that is true, then he is an accomplice and can’t claim the protections a member of the press normally would.
