Virtually any Army Officer can seen through Vindman’s testimony. It is partisan, destructive to the Army by injecting it into politics and clearly designed to overthrow our Command In Chief. I can tell you from my experience that his stock must be so low among rank and file Officers that the Army will need to do more than personal protection for him to keep him on the payroll.
Lt. Colonal Jim Hickman did not need to tell us this. We inferred it just from listening to him in the impeachment farce. He is a political joke and a rabid democrat, that is obvious.
Yep, that guy.
Frank Burns shell fragments in the eye.
Egg shell fragments.

Literally that specific guy? I ask, because literally that specific guy flashed into my mind’s eye when I read your post. There is some physical resemblance, but helluva coincidence anyway ;’}
Epstein didn’t kill himself.
What is the name of that movie?
“The Death of Stalin”
That’s not a lot of ribbons on Vindman. As a 32-year retiree - that tells me a LOT about a LTC. It tells me 1) He is not well-liked or 2) He is just plain lazy and made rank because he had friends.
Thanks. I’ll check it out on IMDB right now!
What? Where did you get that? Where did I miss that?
I bring this up only because of the fact the Dems on the committee have used his CIB and Purple Heart as a measure of his character and credibility.
Again, I am a Viet Nam era Army Reserve vet (31B20) that never saw combat so I do not take anything away from his service. However, if the guy next to me in the attack lost a limb and I only had a minor injury, I certainly wouldn’t be letting some REMF Congress-critter use my award as a measure of my character. In fact, I think I’d shrink in my chair every time someone brings it up.
Protection by the US Army can work two ways. This way they know where to find him when he can be arrested.
Had another guy I knew that got shrapnel in his calf from an IED, The medic who patched him up said he would fill out the paperwork for his Purple Heart. The guy said no because he had a buddy lose a leg from an IED earlier in the deployment so he thought it would be wrong to get one for just some shrapnel.
I am a combat vet, I was awarded the CAB, combat action Badge, which is the equivalent of the CIB but for non-infantry and non-medical MOSs. I do not have a Purple Heart, but it was not from lack of the enemy trying. If I would have caught shrapnel during any of the times we were attacked I would have accepted the Purple Heart.
So Im not going to attack LTC Vindman on his CIB or Purple Heart. There are plenty of other things he can rightfully be criticized for though, and I have and will do so.
