My prediction still remains the same: They will bring it to a vote and it will fail. This has been Nancy's plan all along. The plan is to bring all of this testimony forward - with all the restrictions - and allow their friends in the media to run with it - but never allow Trump an opportunity to counter it with his trial. She knows which dems need to vote no and it will die on the floor of the senate.
They know it is suicide to allow him a trial.

You are correct in that there will be no impeachment. Instead, Schiff will produce a damning and highly partisan report that is referred to the House Judiciary Committee for consideration. After more TV drama, impeachment will be deferred in favor of letting the American people decide via election if Trump deserves to remain in office. In that manner pure Schiff will be spun into Shineola, or so the Democrats hope.

I think one of the posters above had a good idea. They need to start the narrative that (fill in the blank) crisis is so big they have to be the better party and give up impeachment to bring the country together. Unfortunately, this is like asking a scorpion to become a pussycat. There are too many brainless divas, like AOC, living in a fantasy world.
