Rasmussen asked this question about the Democrats’ politicized impeachment charade: “When they write or talk about the impeachment effort, are most reporters trying to help impeach President Trump, or block his impeachment? Or are most reporters simply interested in reporting the news in an unbiased manner?”
The results:
Most voters don’t expect fair play from the media when it comes to news coverage of the Democrats’ impeachment attempt.
Fifty-three percent (53%) of Likely U.S. Voters think most reporters are trying to help impeach President Trump when they write or talk about the impeachment effort. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 32% believe most reporters are simply interested in reporting the news in an unbiased manner. Eight percent (8%) say most are trying to block Trump’s impeachment.
My guess is that most of those who say the press is merely reporting the news don’t actually believe it, but are just Democratic Party loyalists.
Interestingly, minorities are more skeptical of reporters’ motives than whites:
Other minority voters (60%) believe even more strongly than whites (51%) and blacks (53%) that most reporters are trying to help impeach Trump.
I expect President Trump to do quite well with all the principal minority groups (blacks, Hispanics and Asians) in next year’s election.
I hope you're right. We should see them executing some kind of exit strategy soon.

Which means that 47% are stupid.
A good sign, but they’re still fooling enough Americans to make all of us uncomfortable. The Democrats are nothing but a cult and Soros is their “Jim Jones”.
So many sheep get all of their news from the MSM still, without thinking.
There’s a stout Democrat in my town who’d never vote for Trump (he must like socialism) but the other day he commented that the impeachment hearings are becoming an embarrassment for the Democrats.
47% don’t see it? that is scary. Of that 47% I’d say most of them actually do know it but approve so when asked they just say they don’t see it. The ones left over are the incurably ignorant. Sadly this a poll of likely voters. So the latter group are the people who live in a fog but they think it’s their duty to they vote so they do.
They broomed the soap operas because of low ratings.
This my wife in to a screaming fit, yelling at the TV how she F’ing HATED the democrats and all this BS!
That is the result of cancelling stay at home mom soap operas especially on cliff hanger Friday.
Dems are going to pay dearly for that stunt.
They bumped the soaps for their own soap opera? Wow.
Had they been smart (impossible), they would have just put it on CSPAN, proving their hubris.

I don’t see how they could do that. The optics would be devastating. They went “all in” holding a pair of douches.
I think they vote it over to the senate and then smear them when they don’t convict.

That's not quite true. It would be great if it were true, but it isn't.
Too many Americans are still in the dark about the news ... and about political reality -- thanks to the EVIL American media.
Most of the on screen performers on major networks belong hanging from trees.
When I was young living in the Jim Crow South, the press was biased against black citizens in a way much worse than they're biased against Trump supporters today. Really. Also the press still misrepresents black citizens - now they show them as reflections of self appointed 'community leaders'... not who they are. It's not a surprise blacks don't buy into the liberal BS...
Same with Hispanics - who are always portrayed as radical leftists - when in fact they're much more like traditional Americans.
And democrats? Lots of 'em really are delusional enough to believe the press is fair. If they ASK a member of the press how many Republicans work in their newsrooms they might be in for a shock. Most journalists will tell the truth... there are few to none.

I agree with you completely- that’s their only play now. But the testimony has been so devastating to their narrative that it’s possible the House will not pass it.
That would require some sane Democrats, which is a tall order.
But to vote for this sham now is also a pretty sure way to end a political career.
The real True Believers, and I know a couple, don’t care. They’re perfectly aware of the ridiculous nature of the charade but if it serves to act against a guy they’ve worked themselves up to believing is the ultimate enemy, they’ll go with it. That doesn’t argue well for reasoning them around, in fact, I’ve tried and I don’t think it’s possible. The intensity of the hatred they’ve cultivated is past obsession and approaching monomania. Certain of the media share the obsession, others merely stoke it for their own purposes. The one thing it isn’t is healthy.
