I have degenerative disc disease and a pinched sciatic. Tried CBD and it didn’t do a thing. Might as well have drank water. We also have a super hyperactive just all out nutso dog. Gave it to her. Nothing. My daughter tried it for anxiety. Nothing. I’m beginning to think all the raves about CBD are just placebos talking. I’d smoke pot for my pain but it makes me sick. I get the drunk spins and turn into the exorcist so that’s out. Only thing left for me is Tramadol and I’ve been taking it for many years. Get a new doctor.

Quit exaggerating. I have never smelled it from inside the car. I do know of one single house where you can walk by and sometimes smell it.

We commute between Tacoma and Covington basically everyday because we are fixing up a house to sell. It is uncommon not to smell marijuana from the cars ahead of us somewhere on our route, sometimes in multiple areas. This is most frequent along Schuster Parkway on the waterfront in Tacoma, in dowtown Tacoma as we are getting on I-5, when we are on I-5 approaching the Puyallup River, anywher in Fife, in Federal Way near the Home Depot, going through Auburn on Hwy 18, and especially as we are getting back on Hwy 18 in Covington. This is not to mention our neighborhood in Tacoma which is considered one of the best. The other day our car was filled with the stench of marijuana and as we passed the Nissan that it was coming from, there was a couple who appeared to be in their 80s sharing a marijuana cigarrette. People smoking marijuana while they are driving are typically completely oblivious to those around them.

If you live in Western Washington in the same area as us and you are not smelling marijuana basically every single day it is because you are basically a shut in, or you ate a marijuana smoker yourself and your sense of smell has been desensitized. It is much more prevalent than tobacco ever was. I pity the poor people in Michigan who are about to experience the same thing.

According to the feds (SAMHSA) past-month marijuana use in Washington went from 18.92% in 2013-14 to 15.30% in 2016-17

Oh yeah, that is really believable!!! Every other "study" I have seen, every other person I know who lives here will tell you the opposite. But we should believe your study instead of our own lying eyes. To add insult to injury, taxpayers apparently paid for it. It is always amazing how government “studies” can somehow come to the conclusion of whatever the people who have contracted, or people who conduct the studies want them to say.

My wife was doing an event in Fife recently and I noticed the huge increase in the number of security guards roaming around the facility. I asked a couple of them what was going on and they said the “dispensary” a block away had attracted a lot of users who were breaking into cars and getting into the building and stealing stuff. They kept having to chase these low lifes off while I was talking to them. I asked them what was going on with that. They said the bums were constantly pulling the trash out of the garbage cans looking for marijuana cigarette butts that had been thrown away but still had a little marijuana left in them... N-o-o-o, marijuana is not addictive?

I have seen the reports with my own eyes. The scary part.. there aren’t that many cords tested, so undoubtedly, the number is higher. Its science and math.. no web lies to link to.. just a staightforward eyewitness account.
Unless you discard pursuit of truth and go with the google facts.

What individuals see is limited and nonrandom. Science trumps anecdote. Deal with it.

N-o-o-o, marijuana is not addictive?

Who said that? It is less addictive than alcohol.

The infants born with high levels of thc has increased exponentially.

Link?

a staightforward eyewitness account.

No single eyewitness can possibly state that infants born with high levels of THC has increased exponentially - merely that the number THEY PERSONALLY HAVE SEEN has increased.

You already know I live in Richland; we discussed it previously along with your work here. Come on over and let’s take a drive around town. Meet you at the Richland airport where I used to keep a PA-22.

Fortunately, I do not have the early-dementia indication of decreasing olfactory sense; in fact, I recently nosed-out a bad odor that even the grandkids couldn’t smell until they got much closer to it.

I have bought several brands of CCD from Amazon which work great. They have it at my local grocery store but it costs more.

I am concerned about your blood pressure, though. CBD does lower it a bit so maybe you should talk to your doc about that.

Thanks for your concern. I’m concerned about my BP too, but I see a cardiologist regularly and they don’t seem concerned. Usually it runs normal. I have no idea why it dips, but I can tell when it does because I feel really wiped out when it happens.

I appreciate the info on CBD. I may try it. I have a bp monitor so I’ll be able to see how it affects by BP. I’ll check out Amazon.

I can vaguely remember our previous discussion. I am sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, I have never met anyone from Eastern Washington who I did not like, other than Seattle's little sister Spokane... I have never worked in Richland. My dad is from Eastern Washington and we have relatives there, so I have flown our airplane to the tri cities and we have been through there on numerous occasions.

It is a beautiful place, but you know very well that Eastern and Western Washington are nothing alike. It doesn't surprise me that the issues caused by legalization are different there. And as far as I know the ban on pot shops in Richland is still in effect so you don't have a similar situation with local availability. We have as many or more pot shops in Tacoma and Fife as we do Starbucks.

We have two pot shops in the Tri-Cities and there are two in Prosser. One of the former is just outside Richland and West Richland city limits. The owner of the Finley shop is on Kennewick’s city council. His shop posts revenues of over $1,000,000/month. So there is availability.

I’ll dig up our previous conversation.
