Illegal Immigrant Charged In Crash That Killed Man On Tractor

A man who struck a tractor Sunday, killing a man is an undocumented immigrant according to authorities.
31 year old Heriberto R. Perez-Velasquez, struck the compact tractor from behind on Rt. 31 in Weedsport. The impact threw 59 year old Mark Knapp, of Weedsport from the tractor killing him.
Perez-Velasquez has been charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter, felony driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and failure to use a designated lane.
Sheriffs say Perez-Velasquez is an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala and has another pending charge for Aggravated Driving While intoxicated in Wayne County from an arrest on October 19, 2019.
He is currently in the Cayuga County Jail on $50,000 bail.

according to the article he was arrested for DWI a few weeks ago. I suspect Cuomo already shielded him from ICE and that’s how he was out and able to allegedly kill this man.
