Election season is underway, with less than a year until the mother of all elections in November 2020. Will Americans vote to keep America great or toss 250 years of liberty and prosperity to the wind in favor of socialism? Is President Donald Trump headed to a second term or will the deep state establishment thwart his reelection at any cost?
I contend that the 2020 election is Trump’s to lose. Despite the media’s endless claim that “the walls are closing in” on the President, with every bit of news being a “bombshell” and that impeachment is a foregone conclusion, a more objective look at the electoral landscape demonstrates that this is liberal projection. The media and their Democrat party minions project their fantasies on Trump, when in reality the walls are closing in on them.
Start with the polls. Rasmussen, the most accurate pollster predicting the 2016 election, tracks likely voters in their Daily Presidential Tracking Poll. These are the voters most probably deciding the 2020 election, as opposed to other polls which survey registered voters, eligible voters, or whoever happens to answer the phone.
As of November 8, 2019, Trump sits at 49 percent total approval, compared to Obama at 45 percent at the exact same timepoint in their respective presidencies. We know who won reelection in 2012, quite easily. Obama had mostly favorable media coverage while Trump’s coverage is almost entirely negative and hostile. Yet half of likely voters approve of the job Trump is doing as president.
National polls are fine and good, but presidents are not elected by a national popular vote, despite the wishes of Hillary Clinton and others.

Another poll shows Trump’s approval numbers in battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota higher than in 2016. Perhaps voters in those states are noticing the strong economy.
After the last few years, I can’t imagine how completely unhinged the liberals will be when Trump is elected again...

This author, and countless others, fails to address voter fraud and instead relies on polls and trends. It’s hard to understate this; every illegal method the ‘rats have to steal an election will be employed on 11/3/20. Vote, vote, vote, but be prepared for chaos following the election.
I think the ultra-Left views of the Democratic field is really turning off voters to no end.
When Trump wins, they will do everything they can to pollute his last four years with nothing but impeachment crap. Subpoenas, hearings, questioning, meetings, committee after committee after committee having yet more hearings. The stinking republicans need to take back the House and keep the Senate. Then they control all the stinking committee hearings.
If he bans all trade with China, or starts a war in Bumphucistan, he will lose. If he doesn’t, he will win.

I would think they’ve maxed out, but I’m probably wrong.
That means that we all have to get out there and vote, and take as many like-minded people with us as possible. No hemming and hawing because he isn’t the “perfect” conservative.

Sounds like something that could have been said rationally in years gone by. Sadly those days are undeniably gone, a relic in a society whose new motto is, "If it happened more than ten minutes ago, it's irrelevant." Of course that's unless it can be gamed to instigate racial or another form of societal strife.

So I have to object to this title, because it sets up a meme that Trump would have to really screw up to lose. No, the MSM and voting fraud could take an election away from the real winner. We all know it.
Trump will do his best, and the rest will lay in the hands of folks who would chop their own moms up into little bits, if it would provide Communism one more meal.
