Why do they like it? They’re immature - whether their fifteen or fifty, they have an immature world view and the philosohy appeals to immature people.
What the millennials fail to grasp is that the government hand giving out the freebies is also an iron fist. Socialism will eventually morph into totalitarianism. What will happen to anyone who says no to the government confiscating their wealth or property? The promise of fairness and redistribution also conceals that government elites will maximize their benefits. In Venezuela where average citizens are looking in dumpsters for food, Madura and his cronies are dinning at the finest restaurants and enjoying the good life. The same was true in the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, North Korea and any of the other failed socialist regimes.
It's not like they see their parents or older kin throwing off the chains of medicare and social security. People like some form of socialism and will continue to vote for it.
That's an easy one. Millenials like it because they are completely ignorant about history.
An old friend of mine once described the shock he felt when he enrolled in a top (expensive) college and learned how utterly ignorant his classmates were about history. To his average classmate, history was (in his exact words) "a jumbled mass of cavemen and people riding in covered wagons -- and not a single clue about the general times in history when things happened relative to each other."
Forget about Millenials. This all happened DECADES ago.
Because, in days gone by, left wingers constantly got the crap beat out of them by right winger and it’s kinda like payback. Don’t play all innocent with me. Don’t raise the specter of Jim Crow being Democrat. Them Dixiecrats were allied with big money Republicans in their violent physical repression of leftists. Now it is evident that the radical left and their “global warming” hysteria is a tool of the big money Agenda 21 globalists. The State forces you to give one to your neighbor, shoots the neighbor
and forces you to milk them both, giving all milk back to the state.
The State gives you a cup of sour milk.
LIBERALISM

The State takes both cows, slaughters them for their own food,
and taxes you to death for worthless social programs, for having
the animals originally.
LEFTISM

The State terrrorizes the animals until they can’t produce milk,
beats you and your wife to death, and puts your daughters & sons
into the Pedophile Nation, for the Epsteins, Weiners, Clintons etc.
PROGRESSIVISM

Progs advocate for advancements in science, technology,
economic development and social organization, but they’re so full
of bullshit, nothing ever changes.
