Most Democrats would back a democratic socialist for public office, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll released on Wednesday.
The survey found that 75 percent of Democratic voters said they would support a candidate who embraced the label, while 26 percent of Republicans and 36 percent of independents said the same.
Younger voters were also more likely to throw their support behind a self-described democratic socialist.
Seventy-four percent of those aged 18-34 said they would back a candidate with the tag, compared to 52 percent of those aged 35-49 and 30 percent of those aged 50-64.
However, voters were nearly evenly split on the term overall: 48 percent of those polled said they would support a democratic socialist, while 52 percent said they would not.
The survey comes as a number of progressive Democrats, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), embrace the label.

They think socialism is great until they can’t get any of the services they were promised and they have to start paying the inflationary prices for goods they can longer get. By that time, it’s too late.

Anyone who would vote for a socialist of any kind does not deserve to freedom.
The difference between “socialist” and “democratic socialist”, as far as I can tell, is that the former takes the fruits of your labor by force, and the latter takes it by force, but after voting on it first.
If those numbers are true, it’s very scary. A Constitutional Republic and Socialism cannot live in harmony. Once socialism is in full swing it can’t be reversed. Just look a Venezuela.

Pollsters need to first ask people to define socialism and report how people respond to that question before they have people take their pro-socialism propaganda polls.
Pollsters also need to ask people the trick question, which clause of the clauses in Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers gives Congress the express power to establish socialistic spending programs? Ans. none.
People taking poll should get a prize if they mention the 10th Amendment.

Did you ever wonder why it seems Democrats spend a ton of money on school board and county government races? Now you know. Control the public schools, which means you dictate the curriculum the students are taught, and win county government seats to control the money. Total indoctrination to leftist ideology with no opposition! That’s how the Democrats are taking over America with communist help!
