DANBURY, CT (WFSB) -- The president of a Connecticut university said hate-filled flyers were randomly distributed throughout campus on Thursday night.
Western Connecticut State University President John Clark said he is shocked and saddened about the flyers and inscriptions found on university property.
The flyers had "It's Okay to be white" written on them, according to WCSU officials.

“Have no doubt that we are treating this as an attack on our university community and making every effort to see that those responsible are caught and properly punished. I am fully committed to the absolutely necessary goal this does not happen again. We must be ever vigilant to protect our university against these hateful attacks,” Clark said in a letter.

We (CT) are the stupid state—from the governor, to the state legislature, to our Congressional delegation, to the universities, to the local school-houses.
It is embarrassing.
Surely it’s ok to be white. On fact, it’s cool to be white.
The university president’s statements sound like the ravings of a madman. What, exactly, is the charge and punishment for posting a handbill that reads “It’s Okay to be White”?
Free Speech is under attack, and that a university president would say the things this guy has is direct proof.
It’s ok to be my color except white. Correct? If this president is white, why is he still there and why does he have that job, which, as a conclusion of his own statement, his tenure is racist and oppression of non-whites?
Using their Logic, a Poster that says “It’s not okay to be White” would be considered what, a love letter?

It is long past time for states to do the taxpayers a favor and privatize state universities. Tenure and protections for government employees result in market forces not working in higher education. Eliminate all government funding, state and federal for education, including student loans. Perhaps then university presidents will focus on issues of real importance to their students.

1. Where is the logic in the conclusion drawn above?
2. As stated earlier, would a flyer that said "It's not Okay to be white" be protected free speech?
3. Would phrases like "It's Okay to be cisgender, or heterosexual, or Christian, or mentally stable, or working class" be equally hate-filled?
Such a reaction by a University Oligarch is depressing.
Like Oberlin and Evergreen College, these school administrators have become so soaked in the alternate reality that they have no idea how insane they sound outside of the bubble.
