This is the game. Trump is raking in way more money than the Dems, so of course he has to be shut out from spending it on social media. Moreover, Dems will still be able to proselytize on Twatter using botnets, which of course Twatter will turn a blind eye to. GOP attempts to do the same will be labeled “Russian interference.” Book it.
Hillary Clinton doubled down on her earlier criticism of Facebook on Wednesday after rival social media giant Twitter announced that it would ban paid political advertising from its platform.
In a tweet Wednesday afternoon, Clinton appeared to dare Facebook executives to follow suit after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced the changes to Twitter's platform minutes earlier.
"This is the right thing to do for democracy in America and all over the world," she tweeted. "What say you, @Facebook?"

I get all my news from Twitter. It’s immediate and it’s unbelievably complete if you follow the right people.
This doesn’t surprise me. many people who report on the muslims in Europe and here are always complaining about Twitter censorship.
I have heard of a new one called Parler. not too hot yet.
I’m ok with this. They make money by selling ads. If they don’t want the revenue source, so be it. I wish YouTube would do the same. Every time I want to watch a video I have to watch a political ad first. I could pay YouTube to get it ad free, but I don’t want to spend the money.
I have a better idea: just delete your TWITTER account and walk-away from it.

I had my Twitter account blocked after I said:
“What is that??” in response to a picture someone posted of a transgender.
I haven’t looked back! A real cesspool! Glad it works for our POTUS though!
This must be targeting President Trump. He tweets about his rally’s. In fact, they’d deem EVERYTHING he tweets as campaigning. They are NOT interested in fairness.
Every anti-Trump story from the media is a political ad that aids the communist democrats. The jackass at Twitter will claim that these ads are not political. Social media is a joke and needs to be designated as a democrat in-kind political contribution.

Question: which will have the bigest impact: a lawsuit against Twitter for restricting free speech ....

A revolt by Twitter's share-holders demanding a reverse-course of this stupid action because Donald J. Trump has one of the biggest (if not the biggest??) Twitter following and restricting his speech will result in a direct loss of profits.
Time will tell.
