The point is, they’re not fully on the defense. They are just in a box, and their best move at the moment is not to make one but try to force Trump to do something rash, which despite the media’s portrayal of him, is not something he is known to do (strategically).
They are very very close to be fully on defense. In about 3 to 5 days they will be there.

Yes. The Democrats need to be destroyed. I think their money is funny, I think corruption is rampant, I think foreign influence is rampant. That's an offense. The Deep State Offense put people in prison, dragged them into trials, and forced the to plead guilty to dubious crimes to save their families.
Any day this week you can see the main plotters of the Deep State Coup on television, where they are all getting high paid analyst contracts, they all get book deals, they get money and the accolades just keep rolling in for: Clapper, Comey, Brennan, Rice, Jarrett, Hillary, Huma, etc. etc.
It is still too early to say that Trump is on offense (we've been faked out before ie: Huber) and way too early to say it's working.
I'll agree when a couple of the above are sitting in the cells next to Cohen and Manafort. Until then, it appears Team Trump does not have a good offense.
Impeachment is a long time goal of Team Evil. Most people now are conceding that, Yes, Trump is going to be impeached. You can say a lot of things about that but I don't think you can say Trump is winning!, can you?
