Is Alabama in the potential target zone for the asteroid?

Donald Trump will be ridiculed on that twitstorm site if he says that.

Either your still drunk or you have dementia because you’re not making any sense.

You should get some help.

Now you're losing your ability to distinguish "you're" from "your."

Tell ShareBlue we said hi.

If the schools are teaching lies, parents have to teach the truth. The schools do so little and do it so poorly, that parents have to practically become full-time teachers.

Reformation of Islam itself will have to come from within. I don’t believe it can be imposed.

I don’t see how you can do that and maintain the value of the sanctity of religious freedom - (unless the religion is Christianity, of course).

Reformation of Islam itself will have to come from within. I don’t believe it can be imposed.

I agree, it cannot be imposed from the outside. The 'host body' will band together to attack the outside 'virus'.

The problem, as I see it, is that Reformation for Islam is impossible. Reformation bore fruition in the Christian world when the printing press made propagation of the Bible in the native tongue available to the world. Reformation was return to God's Word.
The problem with Islam is that the last thing we want is a return to the Koran. It tells its adherents to convert, enslave, or kill. Three options - none that are palatable to non-muslims. Therefore Reformation of Islam is impossible. Shining a spotlight on the Koran - and its words - in the hope that people realize that it is satanic in origin (or at a minimum, a recipe for death and destruction) might work. Or - I suppose it could lead to a Reformation of Islam where its followers decide to ramp up their zeal to enslave or murder.

It would be fun to tell the FBI they were about to raid a coup plotter’s house—then monitor all of their outgoing calls and emails and find the traitors....

LOL! What a great idea...plus, CNN would be there in wait as well.

I didn’t know about Ahmadiyya - thanks for the lesson. Their thoughts on ‘Jihad’ are in great contrast to what we generally understand:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmadiyya#Distinct_teachings

I do know that there are Muslims - (my personal curiosity has so far been limited to Sufism) - who I’m sure abhor the radically politicized and fundamentalist interpretations that have led to these decades of terrorism.

There are highly developed, civilized and spiritually-minded Muslims in the world - they are not all bloodthirsty, ignorant animals. The Islamic world desperately needs those ones to step up with courage and become heroes.

I worked in Silicon Valley for over 35 years. I can say that the people that I knew were Muslims (I didn’t ask, and generally they did not advertise) were honorable, and gracious, gentlemen. I liked them on a personal level. My problem is with the Koran. Yes, I understand the majority of Muslims ignore what the book espouses, but the Koran says what it says. Cognitive dissonance is the term that I believe is used. They have to keep two sets of books in their brains, and the fear is that they might get bitten with the ‘olde time religion’, and become infected with Sudden Jihadi syndrome.

I don’t have a good answer, but at a minimum, we should bring the Gospel to all.

It would be nice to bring the Gospel to all; but many people born, raised, conditioned to a certain set of beliefs and way of perceiving the world and their place within it are not going to be receptive.

I just don’t think it’s ‘our job’ to CHANGE people.

People - and cultures - have to change from within; otherwise, they never really OWN the change.

(On another level, how much have all of our attempts at interventionist ‘nation building’ ever really achieved? Almost everyone in the world that we’ve attempted to ‘benefit’ seems to hate us...)
