House Freedom Caucus Member Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, defended Republican lawmakers who stormed the sensitive compartmented information facility room where Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., was about to hold a Trump impeachment inquiry hearing.

Jordan claimed Wednesday on "The Ingraham Angle" that Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has not been transparent as he leads the impeachment inquiry.

"Here's the fundamental question -- There's one person who started this whole thing -- the whistleblower -- in the whistleblower's complaint, bullet point number one, he says over the past four months more than half a dozen U.S. officials gave me the basis for this complaint," Jordan said.

I was so glad to finally see some GOP pushback on this sham impeachment. Sitting quietly and ‘being disappointed’ is just not enough anymore. If the Dems are writing their own procedural rules, we can play that game too.

listen to BBC’s blind correspondent in DC, Gary O’Donoghue, 45 minute in til 47 minute mark. paraphrasing -

those opposed to him, wonder is the Trump admin an aberration? some believe certain institutions may have suffered & may take time to recover. if they can...wish to remove Pres Trump. perhaps confidence in the DOJ, or the courts, or other institutions and agencies that work on behalf of the govt...those who believe in govt, they have a huge task ahead, if they get the chance, to rebuild an idea of govt that is in tune with American population’s wishes and desires and needs/meets? the future.

it’s a bit garbled, but this guy is talking about Dems removing the President so they can restore confidence in DOJ, CIA, FBI etc which have suffered under Trump!!! no bigger swamp creatures than BBC:

listen from 45 minutes:

I guarantee that Nancy Pelosi will blow up over Matt Gaetz.

Yup. Finally. We’re *finally* seeing something other than a bunch of candy asses sitting around speculating about procedural rules.

At least some understand how coat tailing works.

Let’s hope they escalate.

Pretty sure it's Taylor. His 15 page monolgue before the committee is loud and clear. He started in the Trump administration in June of 2019.

It appears he kept profuse notes (the Comey method), trying to entangle everyone in his pursuit of his imaginary "quid pro quo" scenario. More than one person told him to buzz off.

It could be Taylor as WB, or just instigator. Remember that the WB has to take a seven figure book deal for the team and there a lot of deranged junior-deep-stater Trump haters out there who would do that.

“stormed”? I saw it on video and it looked more like they casually and politely strolled to the meeting room.

Today’s journalists sure don’t have a good command of language. Or maybe they’re just trying to advance an agenda. Or maybe both.

I disagree with Graham. The move got the story out in the media that the so-called hearings are not in public and the other side is not getting a fair shake. It also stopped Shifty from disposing the witness.

If Schiff and Pelosi are not following House rules in this parody of an investigation, why should any House member follow any of the rules. Why has the Parlamentarian not been involved in this dispute, since Schiff has clearly been denying Republicans access to transcripts they are entitled to see from these witnesses?

Rep. Gaetz went on with Tucker Carlson:

“We gotta stop thinking that we can use the Marquis of Queensbury rules of engagement when we’re fighting against an angry pack of rabid hyenas.” And that’s what we’re facing and I think the president is right, we gotta be tougher.

It also stopped Shifty from disposing the witness.

I thought that disposing of witnesses had been patented by and was restricted to the sole usage of Felonia von Pantsuit ...
