Just look at the last 3 1/2 years. they dogged this president and will continue through his next term unless we start indicting and prosecuting. The FBI, CIA, and the DOJ need to be gutted

I agree. DOJ’s attitude is “confessions or it didn’t happen”, which translates as “real prosecution is too much work”.
Good potentially accurate summary of the situation. However, Durham might have a basket of goodies from across the pond that cannot be legally ignored re criminal acts that are presentable. Let’s hope so.
The “system” already doesn’t allow what happened.
Big example - federal government is one of limited powers, according to “the system” as defined in the constitution. The reality is that the federal government is way outside of the limited powers, and this because the federal courts have endorsed this.
The government has always used the tools it has to obtain “political” victory and power. The Obama administration is not the first to snoop on political opponents, Ne is it the first to lie to the public, plant falsehoods in the press, and use the power of criminal investigation (the process is the punishment) to maintain power.
Most of the bad actors have been removed? Give me a break. If half of Congress is corrupt (and it is at least that bad), the civil servants are likewise.
The cure is to strip the system of power. Part of that is public attitude. It is WRONG to trust the government. The government is better viewed as the most dishonest group of people that can be assembled - and then give them power and credibility accordingly.
The deep state is unelected. The elected puppets are well paid to go along with "the system." Both parties are invested in this scam.

I posted this before, but I’ll say it again here...
The GOP is at a crossroads. If Trump goes down due to Republican collusion, the party will be decimated for generations. It will truly become a non-entity.
But then, there are those in the Republican Party who seem to be fine with that path...
Worse, Trump’s troubles won’t be over after he leaves office. The vindictive left will pursue him relentlessly until he’s jailed. They won’t give up. He will be destroyed if for only having the temerity to run for president to try to bring us back from the brink of destruction.
It is truly a sad time we live in.
And we have NO ONE to stand up for our side...
Unfortunately, the real problem lies in the bureaucracy — the appointed, unelected demons of our government. It’s now at a point where they have more power than any elected “representative”, and a simple election will do nothing to remove that power.
